LOT Polish Airlines is refreshing its long-haul business class experience with new amenity kits, upgraded headphones, a three-step skincare ritual, and distinctive Polish tableware. These are relatively small changes, but taken together with new cabins and Wi-Fi, they point toward a far more formidable LOT once its painfully slow Dreamliner retrofit is complete.
LOT Polish Airlines Refreshes Business Class With New Amenities, Headphones, And Polish Tableware
LOT Polish Airlines is rolling out a series of upgrades to its long-haul business class service, with a particular emphasis on Polish brands, improved presentation, and the small details that I find are so important in making an airline unique.
Beginning in August 2026, LOT Business Class passengers will encounter refreshed amenity kits, new skincare products, upgraded headphones, and several other changes intended to create a more polished and cohesive onboard experience.
None of these additions will fundamentally transform a flight on their own. But soft product matters, particularly when an airline is teasing a dramatically improved hard product but that product is still years away.
New LOT Business Class Amenity Kits And Skincare
LOT’s redesigned amenity kits will be available in two colors: navy blue and copper.

The kits continue to feature products from Polish cosmetics company Phenomé, but the contents have been expanded to include:
- Facial mist
- Eye patches
- Face cream
- Lip balm
- Eye mask
- Earplugs
- Toothbrush
- Socks
LOT says passenger feedback gathered through its LOT Insight research panel helped determine which products would be included.
For six months, passengers on long-haul flights will also receive Woody Forest deodorant from Polish brand Maroko Produkt.
Beyond the amenity kit, LOT is introducing a three-stage skincare ritual developed with Polish premium skincare brand HDRÈY.

The set includes:
- Full HA Micellar Water
- Glass Skin MASK
- Glass Skin SERUM
These products will be offered on all long-haul LOT Business Class flights for 12 months beginning in August.
I appreciate that LOT is trying to provide something distinctive because it’s current amenity kit is rather tepid.

New Headphones Across All Three Cabins
LOT is also introducing new headphones in business class, featuring a more ergonomic design and softer ear pads.

Active noise cancellation will be added as additional Dreamliners receive their new interiors. Until then, passengers will at least receive an improved and more comfortable headset.
The airline is also replacing plastic headphone bags with paper wrappers.
Premium economy passengers are receiving dedicated over-ear headphones for the first time, while economy class passengers will receive an improved in-ear model.
I would reserve judgment until trying them. Airlines are very good at describing mediocre headphones as premium, but better fit, softer ear pads, and eventual active noise cancellation are all welcome improvements.
Beautiful Polish Pottery Expands To More Flights
My favorite upgrade is the new Bolesławiec pottery produced by Manufaktura in Bolesławiec.

The distinctive cobalt blue tableware was designed specifically for LOT and was initially introduced on flights to Tokyo. Since July 1, it has also appeared on flights between Warsaw or Wrocław and Seoul.
LOT is currently limiting this particular tableware to select Asian routes, so passengers flying between Poland and North America should not expect to see it yet, which is unfortunate because this is exactly the sort of detail that helps to differentiate the soft product. I find the tableware is elegant, memorable, and far more interesting than the anonymous white dishes used by many airlines including LOT on North American routes.
Selected pieces are also being introduced in premium economy.
LOT Will Be Formidable Once Its Dreamliners Are Finally Retrofitted
The soft product enhancements come as LOT gradually modernizes its Boeing 787 fleet.
LOT’s current business class is arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration. The seats are fully flat and reasonably comfortable, but passengers seated at the windows lack direct aisle access, and the cabin increasingly feels dated compared to newer products.
The new business class will use Recaro CL6720 seats arranged with direct aisle access for every passenger. The suites will feature privacy doors, 17.3-inch 4K screens, Bluetooth audio, AC power, USB charging, and wireless charging.
LOT is also introducing new premium economy and economy seats, along with Viasat Wi-Fi across the Dreamliner fleet.
Once all of that is combined with LOT’s generally solid catering, Polish hospitality, new amenity kits, improved headphones, and distinctive tableware, the carrier will become a formidable competitor across the Atlantic.
I have flown LOT business class several times. My experiences have been mixed, but the airline has always had considerable potential. It offers a useful route network through Warsaw, often releases reasonably priced business class fares, participates in Star Alliance, and provides good connectivity throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
The problem is timing.
LOT has been moving slowly, very slowly, with its Dreamliner retrofit. The current plan stretches the cabin refurbishment process through 2030, initially focusing on the older 787-8 fleet.

That means passengers will face years of inconsistency, with some aircraft featuring modern suites and others retaining the existing 2-2-2 cabin…I just don’t understand why the project will drag out for so long. A retrofit project involving a relatively small Dreamliner fleet should not take this long…
CONCLUSION
LOT Polish Airlines is improving its long-haul business class experience with new amenity kits, Polish skincare products, upgraded headphones, and attractive Bolesławiec pottery on select Asian routes.
These changes are thoughtful and distinctly Polish, which is precisely what a national carrier’s premium experience should be.
On their own, they represent an incremental improvement. Combined with LOT’s forthcoming 1-2-1 business class suites, modernized cabins, and Viasat Wi-Fi, they could make LOT one of the more compelling Star Alliance choices between North America and Europe.
Now LOT just needs to move faster. The airline will be only be truly competitive once its Dreamliners are fully retrofitted. I simply wish we did not have to wait until 2030 to see the complete transformation.
