My Travel Season Draws to a Close

After traveling almost non-stop (at least one trip per week) since February, it is going to be a bit strange not to leave Germany for the next six weeks. The last few months have been amazing in terms of the places I have been and sights I have seen. In a combination of both work and personal travel, I have been to Finland, Estonia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, England, Ireland, Italy, San Marino, Luxembourg, Vatican City, UAE, Iran, Oman, China, Japan, South Korea, Guam, Hawaii, all over the US, Brazil, and France.

There is so much I have to share with you in the coming weeks and I look forward to filling you in on some of the travel I have not had a chance to blog about due to my busy schedule. I am suspending travel for the peak summer season because the weather is hot, prices are high, and crowds are out. While many locals are fleeing, I will be content in Frankfurt. I look forward to resuming my busy travel schedule at the end of August, but I really look forward to this time off. With all this travel the number of workouts I have done each week has diminished and my sleep schedule has been severely interrupted.

Eight hours of sleep, daily workouts, and a return to a healthy diet are all on the horizon. It makes me think sometimes that it is time to cut back on travel the rest of the year.
