Afternoon Swim at the Park Hyatt New York

Matthew Klint Posted onDecember 9, 2017November 14, 2023 2 Comments

Sometimes a short afternoon respite can turn a tiring day into a much more relaxed one. That’s one of many reasons I am thankful for the Park Hyatt New York.

Yesterday, I wrote about my hectic business trip to New York and my hectic new life itself. One of my favorite ways to break up a marathon work day is to take an hour in the afternoon to rest.

And when I say rest, I don’t mean a nap. I mean a workout or swim or both.

As far as I am concerned, the Park Hyatt New York has one of the most beautiful pools in the world. I like minimalism and the soft classical piano music playing inside. It also tends to be empty in the middle of the afternoon.

After an intensive workout, I enjoyed a great swim, steam bath, and soak in the hot tub. It was exactly what I needed to power me through the rest of the day.

Whenever I am in the Park Hyatt New York pool, I can’t help but to daydream of having my own pool just like it. It helps that I always have it to myself. The soaring windows and views of the city make it my favorite amenity of the hotel.

CONCLUSION

Sometimes something as simple as a quick swim can all make all the difference in transforming lethargy to energy. I’m thankful for the pool at the Park Hyatt New York.

Huh? Most beautiful pool in the world… nice for sure, and I love a great pool. But I guess after a great workout I would feel like it is the best pool in the world.
