I love flight attendants, I really do, but they tend to be a jealous bunch. The way they turned one popular flight attendant who was making a name for herself on TikTok strikes me as nothing but jealousy.
Pure Jealousy: Flight Attendants Turn On Their Racy Colleague
Cierra Huffman, who goes by Cierra Mistt on social media, was a flight attendant for Republic Airways, which operates regional flights on behalf of American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines. She no longer is, though claims to be a flight attendant for another airline.
On TikTok, she has more than 3.5 million followers and posts videos like “spicy flight attendant secrets” or “how to get upgraded to first class for free” which strike me as lacking much value, but also harmless. She’s offered tips on how to join the Mile High Club, warned about airline coffee, and also raised controversy by saying she will hang out with “hot” passengers during her layovers:
“Yes, flight attendants and pilots during our layovers we don’t only hang out with each other, we actually hang out a lot of times with our passengers.
“Whether it be a really hot guy or girl, or just a fun group of people, if you invite us to go hang out with you guys chances are we’re totally down.”
Over the years, I’ve hung out with flight attendants in cities all over the world. It’s hardly a unique thing or reserved for “hot” people. Generally speaking, I find it great fun to hang out with flight attendants.
But some of her TikTok videos have been floating around online flight attendant chat rooms and her channel was recently flooded with hundreds of comments from angry flight attendants attacking her for “spreading false information” and placing flight attendants in a bad light. These flight attendants must have “reported” her channel or videos as inappropriate because Mistt was temporarily banned, though that ban was quickly lifted.
Responding to all of this, Mistt said:
“The only thing that these comments are showing me is how bored you are, how jealous you are, how insecure you are. Get a life. I will continue to say whatever I want.”
Preach girl.
She’s right. The flight attendants who have attacked her are jealous. I don’t agree with much of her advice, but I admire the following she has built up and that her short videos are quite entertaining. I don’t see them as harmful.
CONCLUSION
Flight attendant Cierra Mistt has built up a loyal fan base on TikTok. Her colleagues are jealous. They tried to get her shut down, but she has prevailed…at least for now. I would not look to her for upgrade advice, but I do find her videos entertaining.

Now in my late 50s with decades of people watching and talking to a lot of women, women are much more “catty” than guys. I’ve had a couple of female friends and they would tell me they have very few female friends because they don’t care for the drama and cattiness of many women.
Guys tend to talk sports, work, etc. and not about relationships or constantly pick on other guys for the relationships they are in, or how they dress, etc. Now I think all of my guy friends are straight so maybe it is different with gay people but that has been my experience.
This lady is definitely attractive and is trying to have fun and make a few dollars. I don’t think anything she does can make a bad name for FAs. FAs have had a reputation, rightly or wrongly, for many decades. It hasn’t just occurred because of this person.

We gay men are not all bitchy queens who love spilling the tea on people and reading them. Most of us are just pretty normal guys who talk about work and sports, or who go online and talk about things like, oh, flying too often than is really healthy. From what I’ve seen, we’re also a lot less likely to hit on the male FAs than straight guys on the female FAs.
As for this young lady, if you take yourself public like this and cultivate a persona like she has, then it’s almost inevitable that there would be backlash. She seems to have handled it well, though.

Her current airline would have rules of ethics to adhere to or should have real soon. Knowing this, whatever penalty she gets is self inflicted. Maturity and thought should have been exercised before she started her tik toc site. She wanted to start a brand, get sponsors and be a Kardashian like wannabe. You’re in the wrong biz babe, get a 9-5.
Without a sample of the responses to her videos that support the characterization as jealous or detrimental it’s difficult to ascertain what is accurate.
I just find her annoying.
Sure, there might be a jealousy component to it, but if she really is spreading misinformation and making the industry look bad, why wouldn’t other flight attendants call her out? Think about how you would react if someone in your vocation did those things. Wouldn’t you protest the damage being done? And then what outrage would you feel if your protest were being waived off as jealousy?
She obviously has a knack for fiction.
Trash? Whatever. Annoyingly stupid? Yes.
In many of her videos her airline affiliate is easily seen.
It’s obvious her videos are not serious (like a couple of other flight attendants from the same airline – which ARE worth while looking at). Hers are meant to be fun and flirty- and that’s about all they are. Nothing really worthwhile to look at – in fact after 4 or 5 you’ll move on! (Yawn!)

Matthew, her content seems harmless to you because you are not a flight attendant. Videos like here resurrect the public view of flight attendants as sex objects and encourage harrassment. The last thing most of us want is passengers badgering us about going out after work or trying to find us in our bunks. Our objections to her content are borne of self protection rather than jealousy and also nobody likes a liar.
It would appear she’s a former FA, NOT a currently serving one, trying to make a few bucks and a “celebrity name” for herself from blogging, etc., using whatever “experience” she might have gained in the skies and adding a fair dose of ‘creative license’ to her postings. What is it, that this individual has achieved, or what position is she in, to evoke feelings of envy from other FA’s? She had a brief stint working at $20/hr for a regional airline and staying in holiday inns in places like Montrose, Colorado. She was then fired for violating every bullet point of her company’s social media policy. There is absolutely nothing to covet here.

Update: Cierra is currently in critical condition after attempting to take her own life from the harassment and damage that this targeted attack by her colleagues. Her father is in the process of filing a lawsuit against tiktok as well as any airline associated with these employees (flights attendants). Her tiktok will remain removed until further notice as per her wishes. Will keep you updated.

They now view me as someone who they can hook up with and be treated disrespectfully. No thank you. Airlines have strict policies for content posted on social media and will terminate employment if necessary. It’s clear she was only a flight attendant for one year at Republic and now uses others content to embellish her own experience. Just a sad situation for this person. Here are the facts. . .
Republic Airways Flight Attendant
In April of 2021, Cierra underwent training to become a flight attendant and was hired by Republic Airways. Cierra’s content changed to flight attendant/ airline heavy stuff as she attempted to gain footing in the aviator influencer circles. In September of 2021, Cierra posted a video claiming flyers could get free upgrades by bringing their flight attendants gifts. Fox News picked up her video and reported on it. People within the airline industry & airlines spoke out claiming Cierra’s claims were untrue. Cierra started making enemies with her peers for including their footage in her content without crediting them. She also made a video about pilots and flight attendants having affairs and used content from a married pilot couple insinuating they were a pilot/flight attendant hooking up. They asked Cierra to correct or remove the content with no avail. The free upgrades video was removed for a month but was restored to Cierra’s account in late October. In November, Cierra shared a video claiming flight attendants and pilots have sex in the cockpit while the plane has passengers and is in flight. During the video she reveals sensitive security procedures airlines have put in place to protect passengers. She once again uses clips of other creators without their permission, insinuating they’re having sex mid-flight. Flight attendants and pilots started calling Cierra a liar and criticizing her for perpetuating negative stereotypes about their profession. One flight attendant made a response video in which he shares he contacted the Republic Airways and they said Cierra had been fired in September (shortly after the free upgrades video) and no longer works as a flight attendant. He also said the airline is pursuing legal action against Cierra. Cierra recently shared a video saying her boss at Republic purchased a pair of used panties from her OnlyFans and has been blackmailing and stalking her since.
