Two Women Arrested For Beating Up Spirit Airlines Employee At Las Vegas Airport

Destiny James, left, and Adreonna Adair, right, are in trouble. The two women are accused of beating up a Spirit Airlines employee in the baggage claim area of Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas and then resisting arrest.

Women Accused Of Beating Up Spirit Airlines Employee In Las Vegas Baggage Claim

The incident occurred at Las Vegas Airport on Thursday at 4:30pm. According to a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police report, Adair and James attacked a Spirit Airlines worker in the baggage claim area. It is not clear what prompted the incident, how long it went on, or how whether the Spirit employee was hurt.

Police were called to the scene and found the two women. While interviewing them, Adair and James were “uncooperative” and attempted to leave the scene without answering law enforcement questions. As a result, a backup officer was called in and the two women were detained.

Both now have court hearings on March 3rd.

Spirit Airlines has not commented on the incident nor has video emerged.

In what could be a twist to the story, a witness reportedly told police that the Spirit Airlines employee “swung” a phone at the two ladies, prompting them to beat her up.

CONCLUSION

It’s a dangerous era to be a Spirit Airlines employee. From flight attendants being dragged down the aisle by their ponytail to punched in the face to being beaten up in the baggage claim area, one thing is certain: we are not hearing these stories on Delta or United.

If these two women unjustifiably did attack the Spirit Airlines employee, I hope they receive more than a slap on the wrist.

“Unjustifiably beat up” is an oxymoron.

But I thought assault & battery aren’t violent crimes……..certainly not anything that will warrant prosecution or any kind of meaningful punishment.
With this new America we live in, my advice is
    1) Learn defensive techniques
    2) Get a gun
Its time to protect yourselves from the animals that the government is no longer interested in protecting you from.

Or perhaps as a nation we could finally learn that education is the path to a civil society. Invest in free community colleges, make universities more affordable, provide accessible technical school training for free. Improve our inner city and rural primary and secondary schools, and implement earlier free pre-school.

The lack of affordable quality education in this country is why we see parts of our society unhinged. Rather than your solution of a defensive posture with more guns, how about an offensive posture with more pencils?

The problem isn’t a lack of educational opportunities or funding.

        It’s an issue of culture.

I think with Brandon as President America has got more than a sufficient education. Had he not assumed the Presidency I would never have learned of his role in restoring American citizenship to the greatest insurrectionist of all time – Democrat President Jefferson Davis.

Stuart – I understand what your saying, but there is a certain segment of our society that even if they are offered free schooling, will not take that route. Even free schooling involves comittment and hard work to achieve success, many are unwilling to put the effort in. My son gave four years of his life to the military , and then went on to a trade school for 1 year. He now is on track to make $100,000 his first year of employment. There are many well paying jobs out there, and you don’t have to go broke to get one. I personally don’t have a college degree, learned almost everything I know from on the job training. I’ve run 2 successful small businesses, and retiring shortly as a multi- millionaire. I learned much more from parental guidance than I ever learned in school.

Haha. To be expected from the joke that is Spirit Airlines. You couldn’t pay me to fly them!

You need only looks at the destinations they serve (Oakland, Detroit, New Orleans, Memphis) to ascertain the quality of the pax.

Why didn’t you also post a lil ol “ok sign” emoji to make it super obvious what you were implying That said, have you ever looked at the extensive list of destinations that SPIRIT flys to? Owing to the fact that SPIRIT is patronized by a very large number of Orthodox Jews out of the Ft Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, I’m asking Mr Klimt to flag your reply as profoundly anti Semitic.

It won’t be long before Spirit Airlines is the backdrop of a new reality series. Because, you know how people love to watch ‘”car crash television! You don’t watch to watch, but it’s compelling. And of course, most incidents will be “….meanwhile, back at Miami Airport!””

I’m sorry but you MUST not have been watching the news. Delta just over the holiday has had more fights then spirit in the past 2 years. United still is trying to recover from dragging the doctor down the aisle. Southwest guest punched a flight attendant in the nose. Delta has folks blowing slides and fighting AIR MARSHALLS, so the next time you should write a story make sure you make it a whole story not just a spirit story. Oh and there’s no story about someone being dragged by they’re pony tail, however there is a story about two men on Delta fist fighting in Tampa. Check out that video!

It’s very hard to take this publication seriously when “women” is spelled wrong not only several times in the piece but in the headline . I never comment online but I am genuinely hoping this is seen by an editor so it can just be fixed.
