Lucky and I offered less than stellar initial feedback yesterday on our China Eastern Flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai. The primary problem was onboard smoking but there were several service lapses that ultimately made for a disappointing in-flight experience.
We spent last night in Shanghai and this afternoon are flying from Shanghai to Colombo, again on China Eastern. Someone must have read our blogs because we were met by an “airport duty manager” upon clearing immigration today and treated like royalty…I write this post from the China Eastern First Class lounge in Shanghai Pudong’s Terminal 1 and now the question is what will today’s flight be like? Has the crew been “warned” about us? Will today’s flight truly be non-smoking?
Wait till you hear the details…it has been a fascinating day so far…
