It has all the makings of a good film — directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Tom Hanks — and a new IMAX preview for Sully, which portrays the crash landing and subsequent investigation over US Airways 1549, is out.
For reference, the first trailer is here–
The film hits theatres on 09 September 2016 and may be the first time I visit a movie theatre in years. Typically I just wait for movies to show up on airplanes, but if this film is edited like Up in the Air (where United blurred all traces of American Airlines out), I have no desire to see it on a United flight.
Will you be seeing this movie? Once it comes out, I will write a post discussing what is truth and what is embellishment in the film. I’d imagine Eastwood took some artistic liberties to spice it up.
Did UA really censor that movie? That’s hilarious! Btw are you British?
@SEXYKITTEN7: UA did indeed censor the movie — all the AA logos were blurred or greyed out. I am not British — just curious, what made you ask?
Meow! Because of your date format and spelling of theater!
