Donald Trump’s 757 Jet Will Return To Service

Donald Trump is taking his Boeing 757 jet out of storage, fixing it, and adding a new paint job as he promises it will be airworthy by the end of the year.

Trump 757 Will Return To Service

The former President of the United States addressed his gold-plated Boeing 757-200 corporate jet on his new “From The Desk of Donald J. Trump” webpage:

“Many people have asked about the beautiful Boeing 757 that became so iconic during the Trump rallies. It was effectively kept in storage in Upstate New York in that I was not allowed to use it during my presidency.

It is now being fully restored and updated and will be put back into service sometime prior to the end of the year. It will soon be brought to a Louisiana service facility for the completion of work, inspection and updating of Rolls-Royce engines, and a brand new paint job. When completed, it will be better than ever, and again used at upcoming rallies!”

Lately, President Trump has used a smaller Citation jet for his travels. Without a large entourage in tow, the need for a larger 757 aircraft has diminished.

The Trump 757 private jet has been sitting idle for over four years and was recently seen missing an engine.

What Could A New Paint Job Look Like?

Since taking office, President Joseph Biden has been tight-lipped about his livery choice for the new Air Force 1, a modified Boeing 747-8 aircraft due for delivery in 2022.

Air Force One Livery

President Trump had chosen a new design for the aircraft, featuring red-white-and-blue colors that resembled the final TWA livery (where his late brother was a pilot).

It could be, especially if President Biden chooses to stick with the Salvatore design, that Trump will just use the paint scheme on his own aircraft.

CONCLUSION

After rumors that it would simply be scrapped, President Trump has told supporters that he will be restoring the aircraft and adding a new livery. Knowing the former President’s penchant for attention, I wonder if the livery might be something even more eye-grabbing…

He can perhaps copy Alaska Airlines approach and use the QAnon Shaman’s face on the tail.

Not at all a fan of the change in AF1’s paint job.

Considering the source, I certainly wouldn’t put too much stock in his statement that the aircraft will be returned to service.

That said, the note about Louisiana does lend it some credibility. Trump almost certainly is referring to Citadel Completions, which is based in Lake Charles and is focused on performing VVIP completions for large aircraft. The company was founded by the late Sheldon Adelson and it has done work for the Sands VVIP fleet (in fact, one of the Sand 747SPs was written off due to damage from the recent hurricane that went through Louisiana). With Adelson having been a Trump supporter (and mega donor) it makes sense that the aircraft would go to Citadel.

AF1 should be painted like the B1 bomber. A “speed of light” flag painted on the tail would imply strength, power and progression.

May need to sell that plane soon to pay off that 9 figure Deutsche Bank note coming due soon. Should get a few thousand as a down payment on it.

Also, criminal defense lawyers don’t come cheap either these days.

If you’re a “billionaire” why would you need to wait 7 more months to get your 757 that was built 30 years ago back up in working order?

Surely you’d be better suited flying around in AMLO’s 787, and I’m sure it could be in New Jersey ready to go next week. Of course, DJT could use some of his classic negotiation prowess to get a deal on one of many other planes… A nice Norwegian 787, a Malaysia A380, or a sleek Interjet SSJ100. I hear he has a friend in Moscow that can get him special pricing on repairs for that one!

From everything I’ve read, Trump’s 757 has been out of service because he has no money to fix it and doing so will cost many millions. Unless of course he does another fundraising tranche of emails to get the gullible to pay for fixing this grifter’s plane.

I give no credence to his stated plans; they will fall apart, as have so many others of his.

Wow no pushback from all the Trump sycophants who populate this blog? How your false idol has fallen. Time to join a new pack of lemmings it seems.
