Private Jet Carrying Former President Donald Trump Makes Emergency Landing After Engine Failure

Trump was in Louisiana for a GOP fundraiser last Saturday, speaking at the Four Seasons New Orleans at a dinner hosted by the Republican National Committee. During his talk, Trump wryly suggested the U.S. should “bomb the shit out of Russia” using planes with the Chinese flag affixed to the side.

After his speech, he returned to Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans (MSY) and took off on a Dassault Falcon 900 supplied by a donor for Palm Beach, Florida (PBI) where the ex-President resides. The tri-engine, French-built corporate aircraft can accommodate 19 passengers and two crew members. Members of his staff and Secret Service were onboard.

About 20-30 minutes into the flight, one of the engines failed as the aircraft was traveling over the Gulf of Mexico. The aircraft turned back toward New Orleans and requested emergency landing according to ATC audio reviewed by Politico, which broke the story. Emergency personnel were waiting as the aircraft landed where it had begun its journey.

Meanwhile, the Republican National Committee sprang to work finding a replacement plane for Trump, eventually locating a plane from another donor and sending the President and his entourage on their way.

Trump made it to Mar-a-Lago by 3:00am Sunday morning.

Engine failures are not uncommon and the “emergency” was more on procedural grounds than any actual risk to the life of Trump or other passengers onboard.

CONCLUSION

Former President Trump was forced to make an emergency landing in New Orleans after an engine failure on a private jet that was transporting him to Florida. The aircraft safely landed and a replacement aircraft was found to get Trump home.

These comments are going to be cringeworthy. And coming from me, that’s saying a lot.

I guess you missed the memo that everyone else got.
Donald John Trump, his family, and his followers are deranged. Any statements to the contrary are Houdini-style misdirection. And Harry was SO much better at it.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. And he can’t even call his pal Putin for a ride these days.

His beautiful 757 is parked for good, no? He probably can’t afford to operate it anymore.

Don’t worry, Trumps PAC is already soliciting donations for a new plane. I’m sure the rubes will forgo their insulin for a month to make sure to send poor old Donald money to get his plane up and running as doing otherwise would make them a Rino.

How did he get into the plane? He had to climb out of Putin’s pocket first!!

IF it was the number 2(center) engine that had to be shut down then it wasn’t much of a problem for the pilots to handle. Falcon trijets(900, 7X) fly well with only engines 1 and 3 operating.
