To end my trip to Copenhagen and Brussels, I flew from New York to Los Angeles on JetBlue. I’m not going to review the flight beyond remarking on the very unique seat I ended up with.
My Unique A321 Economy Class Seat On JetBlue
After landing at JFK Terminal 1, I cleared passport control via Global Entry and darted over to the TWA Hotel hoping I would be in time for a coffee at Intelligencia before it closed…sadly I missed it.
I found coffee at a little coffee stand near my JetBlue gate in T5 instead.
Sometimes when you don’t assign a seat in advance (there were only pre-assigned middles left) you wind up with a much better seat. I wound up with an aisle seat, 19D, but I had to chuckle at it..what a unique seat:
What you’re seeing is the back of a crew rest seat…hence the tall seatback.
I suppose this was much better than the Lufthansa A321, where in that seat the crew member would face you instead of facing forward…
I try not to fly on economy class on flights this long, but the middle seat stayed open and it was a very productive ride to LA with high-speed internet…one of the primary reasons I choose JetBlue.
I always enjoy flying over downtown LA on approach into LAX.
After landing I walked to my car…via a taco stand. Oh how I love Los Angeles!
Another trip in the bag! Thanks for reading this report.
The seat next to the crew seat is almost like an aisle seat.
Thumb up for the tacos!
Nice picture.
HA 321’s have this same crew seat set up…no way to stretch legs or store anything either in a seat back pocket or underneath. “Fun” on a 6 hour flight, eh?
The tacos look sensational.
