I first wrote about United’s Fantasy Flights five years ago and I am thankful that this wonderful Christmas tradition has not been one of the cutbacks of the post-merger United. In fact, the program has expanded to 12 airports across the country.
This year United put together a video showcasing a Fantasy Flight out of Washington Dulles–
This short film will tug on your heartstrings…at least it did mine. This event has been going on longer than social media has existed, so I cannot assign a devious corporate motive to this. Most of it is employee-sponsored anyway, though United naturally provides the planes and fuel.

I continue to applaud the United employees who volunteer their time and money to make this annual event a reality each year.
