If you are in the Houston area today near IAH, head down the street to the Chelsea Catering Company (United’s in-flight kitchen) for a chance to support charity and buy some unique United swag. A “garage sale” will be held outdoors.
Hundreds of dishes, flatware, glasses, and other items used onboard like galley carts, china, cooking utensils and stainless steel trays will be sold at prices ranging from $1 to $100. All proceeds will go to the United We Care chartiy.
Address is 4420 Wright Road, Houston, Texas and the sale runs from 7am – noon CT.
I’ve always wanted a sterling silver bowl United uses in Global First to offer nut refills (with the tulip logo of course…) and some of the old pre-merger United tumblers so it is too bad I’m not near Houston today.
