United Employee Caught in Predator Sting At O’Hare Airport

A United Airlines employee with a fetish for minors was caught in a sting operation at Chicago O’Hare International Airport by popular YouTuber Jidon Armani Adams. This is quite a sobering story.

United Airlines Employee Caught in Predator Sting at Chicago O’Hare

Adams, who goes by JiDion on YouTube, has become a modern-day Chris Hansen, catching online predators through sting operations he orchestrates himself. In his latest case, he liaised with a United Ground Express employee by posing as a 15-year-old girl online. United Ground Express, a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines, provides airport ground handling support at many airports across the United network.

A meeting was set up for the United employee to meet the girl at Chicago O’Hare (ORD). All sorts of things were discussed that were going to take place in the hotel room in nearby Elk Grove Village…I’m not going to repeat them, but you can listen to the video…think rope.

JiDion confronts the man, who goes on to confess, in lurid detail, his fantasies, plans, and history of interacting with underage girls.

Eventually, the man is arrested by airport police officers, who work with JiDion to compile all the evidence of Facebook chats and other images for presentation to state prosecutors.

The video ends, interestingly, with an update that the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office declined to prosecute this man, despite his overt solicitation of an underage girl for sexual activity and his recorded admission to JiDion that he had done it and also done it in the past.

I am not an expert in Illinois state law regarding the prosecution of attempted solicitation of a minor. But people like this need help…probably in jail or labor camps.

This is the first time I’ve heard of JiDion. It seems he’s doing good work, though there’s always danger to vigilantism. It isn’t clear if this man is still working for United. Perhaps the biggest takeaway is that we must be vigilant of our children because there are some nasty predators out there.

Vigilantism is corrosive to the rule of law. He should have sent the evidence to the police and let them handle it all. That wouldn’t get views, though, so he wouldn’t do the prudent action.

Reason 5,678,861 social media is awful for society. I suspect there would have been a better chance of prosecution had he let the professionals take it much earlier. Now the man is free, at least until he slips up again and it might be with an actual minor.

He would not be free in Arizona . A huge problem is Cook County”s leniency .

Counterpoint: A huge problem is Arizona prosecutors’ consistent rush to judgement and disregard for both evidence and due process.

A middle ground where there is both justice and fairness exists. The “kill ‘em all, let god sort them out” mentality is at odds with what we like to call “civilization”.

Weirdly , some big city prosecutors decline to prosecute many crimes . Also weirdly , voters keep voting for the big city politicians who allow this .

Yet , we are fortunate to have hero vigilantes such as this youtuber who caught him .

There was a similar problem in NYC when muggers ran amok against innocent people . A large percentage of the jury pool in the hero Bernhard Goetz case ( the hero subway vigilante ) had themselves been mugged , or seen it happen . The top hcro citizens Daniel Penny and Bernhard Goetz took direct action .

Weirdly a president hid in the White House while the insurrections he sent to stop the peaceful transfer of power attacked the Capitol Police. Yes justice has taken a strange turn indeed.

Hmmmmmm, perhaps you are referring the convicted felon with fake bone spurs who also lost a multimillion dollar civil lawsuit for sexual assault and also pardons criminals who assaulted and attacked law enforcement officers that were defending our nation’s Capital Building.

As I hope his supporters will figure this out, I am concerned about alert’s comment that I interpret as a call for violence. Much like the dog whistle for the insurrectionists.

JiDion was working with police to compile evidence for prosecutors. I imagine something went terribly wrong to allow a child predator to escape justice. At least he has been exposed and this man will be on law enforcement’s radar. Good on JiDion.

I believe a number of the cases from the NBC show were also thrown out. While the idea is good, I think doing things in this way can be problematic

“Good on him”, you say, but the evidence is clearly insufficient to give a reasonable prospect of gaining a conviction, or is entirely inadmissible due to the nature in which it was collected. Leave these things to the police. If you want to be a police officer, sign-up. This JiDion and his ilk are only in it for self-glorification and social media clout, period.

JiDion wasn’t acting as a “vigilante” in the traditional sense. He made sure to work with actual law enforcement and collaborate with them to ensure his process was compliant with the law. There have been actual vigilantes before who seek to take down peds and criminals all by themselves, only for the culprits to go free due to lack of adherence to the process. JiDion was aware of these people and made a good effort to avoid that pitfall. This seems like an error on the part of the P.D. involved in the operation.

Giving any kid unsupervised access to the internet before they’re 16 is madness. They don’t need a smart-phone, they don’t need an iPad, they don’t need to use their laptop or PC in their bedroom. Child protection starts at home. You’re their parent, not their friend, and sometimes that means saying no, and then sticking to your guns.

Used to love watching those Dateline segments.

All the creepos needed to know, however, was that if a young girl welcomed you into her house and then said she had just made some sweet tea, it was way past time to leave.

Derek: You are right on.. These liberal cities and states do not take crime against their taxpayers seriously. Catch and release without bail is always a bad policy.. But these Lib cities keep voting and re-electing these Politicians!! They seem to not learn from their mistakes or connect the dots!!
