Woman Dragged Off Delta Flight For Refusing To Wear Mask, Spitting On Passengers Now Claims Human Rights Abuse

Adelaide Schrowang, 23, does not like to wear masks. But she’s really not going to like the huge fine she is going to receive, plus potential jail time, for refusing to mask up on a Delta flight from Florida. Instead, she argued with flight attendants and police officers and spat on other passengers.

Woman Dragged Off Delta Flight After Poor Behavior Onboard

Schrowang was traveling on Delta from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers and boarded her flight without incident. But when she refused to keep her mask over her nose and mouth onboard, law enforcement were summoned to remove her from the flight (flight attendants tried first, to no avail).

Video posted from Sam Sweeney, ABC’s transportation correspondent, shows a combative Schrowang arguing with two police officers about why she should be allowed to stay onboard. From what we can see the cops tired to reason with her to walk off the airplane and only after an extended argument and her adamant refusal to leave was she dragged off the aircraft.

A Florida woman was kicked off a Delta flight for allegedly refusing to wear a mask and spitting on other passengers. She told police they weren’t respecting her human rights. pic.twitter.com/9DDZoBa7up

— Sam Sweeney (@SweeneyABC) July 10, 2021

If you listen to the video, her reasoning is muddled…to put it mildly. She complains that the officers are not respecting her human rights and argues:

“Why do you have the right to put your hands on me? What am I doing that makes you feel you have the right to put your hands on me? Can you help me to understand as a human that is alive why?’ Seriously I’m asking as a person?”

Asking as a person…versus what? A piece of cheese? She continues:

“That’s not cool, I want to trust you, you want to trust me? That’s not healing.”

The spitting allegedly occurred before the video recording began.

Schrowang is being held on $65,000 bail in a Lee County Jail.

CONCLUSION

I’m thinking mushrooms or other psychedelic drugs. Maybe just weed. Or maybe she just think the rules do not apply to her even though she chose to buy a ticket with Delta and agreed to abide by the mask rules when she checked in for her flight.

But she’s not going to like that huge fine that is most certainly coming…

i think i just figured out how we can solve our massive US DEBT problem now, with all these people we kick off the plane we should be able to make it up very soon with the massive fines.

So silly. Cannot wait for Senator Paul to push the end of the mask mandate through the Senate when it recovenes. End this madness NOW!

I agree with you James but you are misguided. She sounds as if she is making an argument in her sociology class on campus and she gets nothing but praise from her dopey professor. She also probably hadn’t been told no many times in her life.

Everyone knows they have to mask up onboard and they all agree with it beforehand. Then she gets on and changes her tune. She is so stupid. If she wanted to be an obstinate cow, she should have waited until they were airborne!!! They probably would have just flown to wherever she was going. If she had a connection then she might have been screwed but we don’t know if that were the case.

Good luck collecting on a fine from a no mark waster like this.

BTW if she wanted to see human right abuses up close and personal she should have been in that island prison nation called Cuba!!

Agree with you James, though that won’t cure all of the mental illness that we see on public display every day.

The state of Florida seems to be the most common denominator with these incidents. It’s funny that I’ve been on six Lufthansa flights between Chicago and Germany since covid began. These have ranged from 8 to about 11 hours based on ground delays, jet stream, etc. Interestingly not a SINGLE incident occurred on these flights. Again, no issues on LH or OU flights between Germany and Croatia. But we see issues weekly with flights to/from Florida. Flying isn’t a right; it’s a privilege. I don’t like the mask regulation either – I hate them. But the people who cause these disturbances should be placed on no-fly lists.

My guess is you have not taken many psychedelic drugs , or smoked a lot of “weed” if you think this is the behavior that occurs when you are on these drugs and relying on what movies and books state what will happen to you.

There are some people who are just mentally ill and if it is some other item in your system , it is usually alcohol that causes this type of behavior.

The overriding reason is most likely the airport/airplane environment – there is something that happens once you start your travel experience that people just think the rules of society do not apply . Would you ever take your shoes off in a restaurant and put them on the table ?

I think all reimbursement for treatment of obesity-related ailments should be refused for those who choose to be obese. This is a far bigger problem than masks and vaccines and obesity is highly correlated with severe COVID-19 cases.

I’m glad you aren’t my doctor. How about people who choose to text while driving a car? People who smoke and have lung issues? People who climb laters? Why do people choose to be doctors and then tell people to stop doing everything that might hurt them one day, or want people to be forced to pay for everything because they made a bad decision.

Yep Scott I’m sure he’s glad he isn’t your doctor also.
Healthcare workers have been overworked to the hilt and it’s made worse by people like you.

Yes he may not like it personally that he has to treat people like you, but in the end doctors will treat all who walk in the door. But perhaps they are just hoping that the thought of yourself or your loved ones on a ventilator may be enough to change tour thinking…but Darwinism is more powerful.

People who text while driving should have their driver’s license revoked, for massively endangering themselves AND OTHERS.
        Oh, wait…
        THEY DO!

I certainly seems as if many of these air (or tarmac) rage incidents involve journeys to and from FL. Why so many uppity passengers? But in all honesty the more I hear about episodes such as this, the less likely I am to board a flight within the United States. My old rule used to be “500 miles or less, I drive.” I am updating that to “1,000 miles or less, I drive. Or stay home.”

This is the result of poor or no parenting, schools left to do all the discipline (of which they don’t), social services coddling and handing out freebies lest anyone have a bad experience or disappointment in life. It’s only going to get worse, people.

Nonsensical comment to bring mushrooms or weed into this. None of those make you aggressive or combative.
Psychedelic drugs it depends what you consider as part of that group, LSD? Cocaine?

I would rather just assume she’s either got issues and/or needs help.
