Man Stuffs Giant Ziploc Bag Full Of Cereal In Miami American Airlines Admirals Club…

Matthew Klint Posted onMay 27, 2024May 27, 2024 31 Comments

Miserliness was on full display at the American Airlines Admirals Club in Miami when a man pulled out a large ziploc bag and filled it with cereal to take out of the lounge.

Man Brings Giant Ziploc Bag Into American Airlines Lounge, Fills It With Cereal

A realtor named Seth Feuer captured a trio of pictures while in the Admirals Club at Miami International Airport (MIA) of a man in shorts and a t-shirt who walked up to the food counter, opened a glass jar containing cereal, and filled his giant ziplock bag with it. Then he dropped it in his bag and walked out of the lounge.

Feuer reasoned, “Perhaps you can push the envelope and grab a snack for the flight, but this really takes it to a whole new level.”

I agree. As I recently said, “The premise of an airline lounge includes consuming food and drinks inside the lounge…and only inside the lounge. It’s one thing to take an apple or orange with you or a cup of coffee, especially when there are to-go cups provided. But it’s quite another to bring bags or containers into the lounge with the express intent of taking out large quantities of food for consumption outside the lounge.”

And maybe it would be one thing (stilll bad) if this was good cheese (like the woman in the London United Club) or even something like strawberries or mixed nuts, but this was sugary cereal. It looks to me like Kellogg’s version of raisin bran or muesli, which is an insult to every genuine muesli in Germany or Switzerland and so full of sugar and preservatives that I don’t let my kids eat it.

You have to wonder if people like that are sick…like those packrat people you can see recycling dental floss and saving every piece of trash. Maybe he just cannot help himself! But in any case, leave the food behind please so you don’t ruin it for everyone.

EXP Kevin, meet 1K Karen…

Stop sexists comments against men. We do not know this was a man. The person might have self identified as a woman

Yes, if we start to see theft as a bad thing, we have sunk pretty darn low.

TJ, and when lounge (or any organization) cuts down on benefits because of low life abuse, we ask ourselves how we got to that point in the first place. Look at how quickly they shut down that portal thing in NY. Bottom of the barrel behave. Just because you can, does not mean you should.

The live video feed linking NY and Dublin that was temporarily shut down due to some girl exposing herself. Looks like it’s back online now.

I absolutely would report this individual and risk confrontation over it. It’s theft plain and simple and we are all paying for it with increased costs and eventually less options at the Clubs.

This also shows there are plenty of lowlifes finding their way into the clubs.

If he sat there and ate the whole jar would anyone complain?
Is someone under the impression that the lounge will go broke if some rando now and then takes a baggy full of cereal?
May as well give up on teaching manners to adults these days so just let trash be trash and move on as long as it doesn’t impact you. This doesn’t impact anyone.

Shocked to discover the Kellogg’s muesli has more sugar than Captain Crunch (39%) sugar! The serial cereal thief will pay the dentist for this crime.

People like this are pathetic. I was in the Aria lounge in Las Vegas recently and saw someone filing a shopping bag with bottles of water. And I told them what I thought of that and they just laughed. If you’re so hard up that you need to take large quantities of food from a lounge, stay home.

I have a different perspective. It sounds like this person entered the lounge and didn’t even sit, but grabbed what he wanted to eat and left. Maybe there wasn’t a place to sit in the lounge? I’ve been into plenty of lounges where I couldn’t find seating and just grabbed a canned drink and left. Now if he had already been consuming the food and drinks and decided to take more out, then that is another story.

Why a man in a T-shirt and shorts is even allowed into lounge.

Damn, Karen, no one cares. He’s paid his lounge fees. There’s no hungry hippo policies, leave him and his cereal snack bag be. JFC. Mind your own business and write about something that’s news worthy.

I feel sorry for anyone that doesn’t feel this activity is wrong and rude. Do these people bring Tupperware to buffets as well? The airports seem bring bring out some trashy behavior.

This is why Capital One lounges are the best! They prepare food to go for you so you don’t have to sit in the lounge and eat it there.

Leave the guy alone. If he’s in the admirals club doesn’t that mean he flys a lot and has spent big bucks at that airline? I know it’s in poor taste and most would never do that but hey…….he did and he obviously wasn’t ashamed at all so big deal. There are more urgent issues to deal with.

What I find amazing is that people are condoning this and saying, ”oh leave him alone.” THAT’s the problem; people actually think this is ok.

How about the amount of food wasted in these lounges. Take a bite or a sip and then leave it. Half eaten plates and unfished drinks are left everywhere. I rather take some food with me to eat later than to waste because it was free.

Two wrongs don’t make a right, but I quite agree with you that the waste is deplorable.
