Sobbing “No Fly List” Delta Passenger Just Didn’t Want To Wear A Mask…

A Delta passenger who claimed to be denied boarding for taking part in the U.S. Capitol insurrection actually just refused to wear a mask.

Delta Passengers Banned For Mask Compliance, Not Sedition

There’s viral video making its way around the internet showing a sobbing man at Washington National Airport claiming he was kicked off Delta for taking part in violent extremism earlier in the week (caution – foul language):

People who broke into the Capitol Wednesday are now learning they are on No-Fly lists pending the full investigation. They are not happy about this. pic.twitter.com/5GfHo1eVU8

— Ray [REDACTED] (@RayRedacted) January 10, 2021

The passenger laments:

“This is what they do to us. They kicked me off the plane. They called me a f*cking terrorist, and they f*ckin’ want to ruin my life!”

Actions, have consequences, but in this case, something else was going on.

If you’re on the “No Fly List” you cannot check in for your flight. You need a boarding pass in order to clear security at National Airport. Clearly, this passenger had one or else he would not have been in the gate area, where the video above was filmed.

And the video above was taken from TikTok. As View from the Wing notes, that original TikTok video came with the following description: Homeboy had a full toddler level meltdown bc he was told to wear a mask.

a group of people sitting in chairs

So there you have it. A much more likely explanation is that the passenger simply failed to wear his mask correctly, as can be seen in the video above. It’s not enough to wear it around your neck.

I’m against “No Fly Lists” and view them as dangerous and unconstitutional. Those who engaged in sedition at the U.S. Capitol last week should be brought to justice…a flight ban is not the appropriate remedy. Jail time is.

CONCLUSION

So false alarm about new inductees to the “No Fly List.” Per the original eyewitness, the man simply did not want to wear a mask. What a melodramatic story after all…

Sounds like a backtracking white wash. I highly doubt this was originally meant to be funny given the drama and cursing. He created an issue, he lost it, and he is trying now to make it seem “Boratish.”

This was not subtle. Even Borat has more class and tact. And better acting. Pure BS as he tries to make excuses.

Oh, did I mention that the tears of white nationalists are beautiful to witness? What a freakin snowflake.

Is the crying guy the same as the one speaking in the second half? I thought the crying was real but the second half was someone else making fun of the first guy.

Banning Terrorists from Airlines is very much constitutional.

I’d be fine with it once convicted of a related crime, but a list that is difficult to get off of if placed on accidentally and with little ability for judges to order someone off the list (per the reasons in Gary’s article) seems crazy wrong to me.

While I agree there has to be a better adjudication process for the no-fly list, can you honestly tell me, after the events of last week, these folks wouldnt try and storm a cockpit? It seems this is exactly what a no-fly list was built for – terrorists and potential terrorists.

Sure, for those convicted of breaking and entering the Capitol. But for those who just showed up to express disgust over the election results? Not a proportionate response. There should be no mass ban. And I see a big difference between an airline banning passengers and the federal government doing so absent a criminal conviction.

I suspect that some people were just walking with the crowd and entered the Capitol with them then walked out. Didn’t know until recently that you can be charged with a crime for doing that and people are. Still, I would follow advice that I read on Flyertalk more than 10 years ago where an American tourist saw a protest in Korea, watched, then broke his leg running away from the police after stepping in a small hole. He regretted it because of the pain in flying home with a broken leg

Yes Derek, because the U.S Capitol is like your local shopping mall. With cops being dragged down the steps and beaten around you. People just “stumbling” in on their way to Sephora.

            Are you for real?

We make ourselves look silly calling it terrorism or a coup. Rioting, vandalism, and looting it was and should be punished. If that is terrorism, then American Airlines is a terrorist organization, which it is not.

These were Trump Terrorists, plain and simple.

Somehow ~60% of America and the rest of the world gets this. Others, not so much.

What proof do they have anyone on that list is a “terrorist”?
I guess you have no idea what “Due Process” is, and that as Americans we have the right of “innocent until PROVEN guilty, in a court of law, in trial by jury.”
People like you are why we are turning into just another third world shite hole.

What about after jail time (assuming they get jail time as you are suggesting in your post, which I don’t disagree with)? Should right to fly be restored before right to vote?

The right to vote is close to a constitutional right (although not explicit in the Constitution). The right to fly is no where near a constitutional right.

I believe both voting rights and travel rights should be restored once a term is served.

Dee, we are so brainwashed that it must be police being dragged down the steps of the Capitol and beaten was all just, “fake news.”

In fact, we are informed. You though are part of a cult that believes that Washington is a giant pedophile trafficking ring and Dems are possessed by the ghost of Stalin.
