A mother on a Frontier Airlines flight made quite a scene after landing, blocking the aisle and demanding that no one deplane until her child, seated several rows back, could get off first.

In a video circulating online, a woman is seen standing in the aisle of a Frontier Airlines flight after arrival, holding up the entire cabin while repeatedly insisting that her child must deplane first. Passengers can be heard groaning as she refuses to move aside, stating that “nobody’s leaving until my kid gets off.”
Her child was seat several rows back and she thought that everyone between her and her child should sit down and let her child get past them
As she continues to block the aisle, emotions escalate, and a shouting match ensues. Thankfully, a soft-spoken flight attendant stepped in and coaxed her into stepping aside so others could pass and she could be reunited with her daughter. This video includes coarse language:
Emotion Or Entitlement?
Deplaning is usually one of the most predictable rituals in air travel: the seatbelt sign goes off, people stand, and the process unfolds row by row front to back (unless the rear aircraft door is also used). It’s not an official rule, but it works because of mutual understanding. What happened here broke that unwritten rule. It’s one thing to stand up to retrieve a bag or wait for someone in your row, but it’s quite another to hold up an entire plane of passengers because you think your situation takes precedence over everyone else’s.
Maybe her child was scared, sick, or separated from her during the flight—if so, perhaps she should have paid for seat assignments in advance. But nothing in the video suggests a medical or safety emergency. It comes across more like someone trying to assert control in a moment of frustration and confusion; a sense of entitlement from someone who does not fly often. As View From The Wing notes, “By blocking the aisle, other passengers can’t move forward, and neither can the woman’s kid!”
Here again, I praise the flight attendant and only wish she was present from the start (this apparently went on for over a minute before the camera started rolling). A calm but firm direction to sit down and allow others to pass should end the matter before it escalates. Passengers should not be left to argue among themselves over who gets to leave first, though I can see how this would be something you just would not expect to happen in the first place…

This kind of behavior perfectly illustrates how civility in air travel seems to be eroding. Everyone has a story, but that doesn’t give anyone the right to hold others hostage in a metal tube after landing. If the child needed help, she should never have been separated in the first place. Blocking an aisle and demanding special treatment helps no one, it just turns a crowded cabin into another viral spectacle of entitlement. And honestly, after a long flight on Frontier, I’d be eager to get off too…

Not personally knowing Matt here is how I see him based on his postings. If it is just an act for clicks and such I’m totally off.
He claims to be an “old school Republican”, the kind that lost elections over and over with pussies like both Bush’s allowing the media to step all over them regardless of anything positive they did. They were basically cucked by liberals and thought being the better person would work out in the end, which it didn’t. They let Obama do as he pleased and fell for the “elections have consequences” nonsense. Cuck a doodle do!
In 2008 the party put up a total loser in McCain who basically took it in the rear and even fought with his own voters, asking them to be civil to the other side, something never done in reverse. So the Tea Party started with a few on the right getting sick and tired of the BS and started a movement that had some fuel for a while but was done by 2012 with Mitt again not willing to fight back. Cucked again by the left. Which Matt’s kind of conservatives were fine with, they didn’t mind losing. They had no clue how to win back the Presidency and allowed the liberal media to run the narrative of the country.
So 2016 comes and we get a new voice, one standing up for those the GOP left behind. Saying bold truths that few on either side wanted to address including immigration. And hit Matt hard because it’s a personal issue to him, he’s a globalist and went as far as to marry someone from another country and even have kids with them. Of course you are worried when you hear discussion of sending them back and if kids born to foreigners are even US citizens. Anyone in that situation would be worried, but more so the cucks that were fine with how the GOP was at that point, subservient to the left. Look at the clown show the “establishment” put up against Trump in the primaries. Without Trump Hillary would have won in a landslide with many GOP voters and the middle not even bothering to vote.
And in those first 4 years made plenty of mistakes that gave the cuck side of the party a few see I told you moments, refusing to admit how much worse it would have been under Clinton. But they would have been fine with that as opposed to Trump not being what they considered Civil.
Fast forward to 2020 and the entire GOP were the cucks under Covid and allowed LEGAL changes in the laws regarding ballot harvesting and mail ballots so they got their asses kicked by a crooked Joe Biden. Not saying Trump hasn’t done some shady things but putting the Biden family up as virtuous is a joke.
And much of America realized it in 2024 and even much of Matt’s side of the party came around, or died off, along with the middle to bring back Trump. And the few left of Matt’s type were told there is no place for them anymore with their belief in being the better person. They saw the left media lying daily about Biden, about the economy, about the far left, etc. And they had enough, they were told to wake up and get with the program or go join the freaks in the streets on the left.
Sadly most of the old GOP cucks left were rich, successful people that think they are better than most. Which has them fitting in better with the liberal elites that believe the government is the answer to everything. Their old claim that liberals wanted people relying on the government from cradle to grave was forgotten because of hatred for a man that said mean things. Matt and his ilk politically and socially were more aligned with Antifa in the streets than the average working American sick of seeing illegals take over cities and living in the best NY hotels on taxpayer dime.
And now many illegals are being sent back, inflation is down, the stock market continues to set records and America is in a rebirth for anyone willing to work hard and make tough life choices. Unfortunately Matt and others can’t get over the fact that their brand of conservatism was a losing issues. Being nice to liberals never pays off. Being nice to human garbage like much of MSNBC won’t change anything. Calling the pigs on the View out is a winning issue because, well, they are fat pigs that lie daily.
Again, this version of Matt may just be an online persona for clicks and money. Maybe he does actually wear a MAGA hat but sees that field as too crowded so he went with this version trying to find his niche.
Too many passengers , too many aircraft , too many carry-on bags , too little humour .

We lost civility when an insane, foul mouth, philandering , bankrupt ignoramus was elected. The loss of civility has now eroded into hostility and not unsurprisingly noticed first in the confines of the metal tube.

As for not sitting together I remember a recent story on here where Matt and others supported regulations to allow families to sit together for free. Maybe idiots like her are why they subconsciously supported it.
Now if she would have just been “selfish” and not had kids or traveled without them this also could have been avoided.
But in the end this is just another reason not to fly Frontier unless you are broke and down on your luck.

The flight attendant should have seen and heard what was going on and stepped in and from I see she should have immediately have called the police to remove her. This could have gotten bad.
Another day, another ill-mannered US citizen travels. It’s just normal.
In the very few occasions my children sat separately from me on a plane, I chose the seat on the back so I could always keep an eye on them upfront. As for deplaning, they were always told to stay on their seats until I got to that position and they could leave the plane with me. Sometimes people make easy situations way more difficult than it should be.
