Hot Deal: Fly JetBlue’s Fabulous Lie-Flat Mint Product For $311 Across USA

If you’ve never had the chance to experience JetBlue Mint class, now is your chance at a very attractive price. I’ve never experienced a finer domestic product in the USA than Jet Blue Mint. This JetBlue Mint deal is worth considering.

The JetBlue Mint Deal

For travel between July and early September (2020), JetBlue is selling one-way tickets between Seattle (SEA) and New York (JFK) as low as $311.

You will not find space on every day of the week, but many days do have space. Some periods, like July 4th and Labor Day, will have higher pricing. But this fare has been around a few days now and I just verified that is plenty of seats at the lower price point in July and August.

How About LA And San Francisco?

Unfortunately, the deal does not extend to Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO). Is it worth flying first to Seattle if you are not local? Probably not,

What’s So Good About JetBlue Mint Class?

Rather than just offer platitudes about JetBlue Mint class, I’ll just draw you to my review of it. In short:

  • Wonderful service
  • Delicious food
  • Comfortable seat
  • Free Wi-Fi

But What About JetBlue Mint During COVID-19?

Do be informed that as of now, JetBlue has scaled back meal service onboard, blaming COVID-19. Here’s what you can expect:

“We’ve temporarily replaced our regular Mint service, including any preselected Special Meals, with fresh fare from our EatUp Café menu. We’ve also limited beverage service to a selection of water, red and white wine, and beer, which will be served in single use cups instead of glassware. In addition, the Pantry will be unavailable. Bottled water will continue to be available at each seat.”

JetBlue evaluates its service offerings every few weeks so we may see a return to more service by the later summer months.

Want To Use Points? Use Chase Ultimate Rewards + Chase Sapphire Reserve

Keep in mind that if you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve card and want to use points for this journey, you can book a $311 ticket for 20,733 points. For a transcontinental flight in business class with lie-flat beds…you really cannot beat that.

If you have an American Express Business Platinum card, you can get receive a 30% redemption rebate if you use Membership Rewards points.

The sale flight costs 30,000 JetBlue TrueBlue points.

CONCLUSION

A sale between Seattle and New York is not for everyone, but these are the cheapest transcon Mint prices I have seen in years. JetBlue really sets the standard for a domestic premium product (especially when the food returns) and so I did want to draw you attention to this fare sale.

Do you enjoy flying JetBlue Mint?

And if you have the Barclays Card, you’ll get 3000 points back, thus 27,000 points.

Without the full service, no thank you.

Airlines want me to fly, offer me the service as it was in 2019. Otherwise, they can screw off.

@Ryan – you could barely fly SEA – JFK basic economy for this in 2019. If one has a reason to fly this route why wouldn’t you?
