How You Can Have Your Face Plastered on a 737

It’s not as bad as it sounds: I’m not talking about an accident. Instead, I’m taking about a larger-than-life picture of your face gracing the fuselage of a 737.

Kulula Airways, a South African budget airline affiliated with British Airways and Comair, will place the mugs of six people on six 737s.

Imagine all your fans pointing to your face in the sky as you fly by! We’ve got 6 spaces on 6 planes waiting to be filled with your perfect mug. Plus, every winner gets double return tickets!

In order to be eligible, you need to sign up for the airlines’ newsletter and upload an image of yourself on this website.

From all valid entries, winners will be chosen during three separate selection processes at the discretion of the Promoter based on the funniest, silliest and wackiest faces submitted.

Each of the six winners will also receive a pair of round-trip tickets on any Kululu flight (the carrier has no longhaul routes). Five additional winners, chosen at random, will receive return tickets.

Finally, this will not be an indefinite livery update: your face will stay on for “a minimum of a week”.

CONCLUSION

The competition ends on April 30, 2018 so you only have a couple more days to enter. I see no fine print that prohibits residents outside of South Africa from entering. You just have to be 18.

Narcissism or a cool competition? I’m still contemplating whether to enter…

I suppose you have to put your own face, not Trump, Kim Jong Un, Queen Elizabeth II, Putin, Bill Cosby, Bernie Sanders, etc.

I thought it was a “10 most wanted” type thing from the headline. I wondered what would happen if you were caught.

Kulula are a hilarious little airline. Their in-flight announcements and the like are usually brilliant. Doesn’t surprise me the management are up for bonkers stuff like this
