Live and Let’s Fly Weekend Digest: October 15, 2017

Matthew Klint Posted onOctober 16, 2017November 14, 2023 Leave a Comment

Good evening from Los Angeles. I’m about to embark upon another adventure…I’ll share the details tomorrow.

In the meantime, let’s review the top stories of the last week. The diplomatic spat between Turkey and the USA currently means no US citizen can visit Turkey…that’s got to be painful news for Turkish Airlines. We also learned that Air Berlin will indeed fully shut down by the end of the month (Lufthansa will take over most routes). Finally, we saw three great deals with the current 30% Virgin Atlantic transfer bonus with American Express:

  • 18K Points for a Transcontinental Flat-Bed Flight: Still Wide Open
  • How to Book Delta Flights Online Using Virgin Atlantic Miles
  • Great Deal: ANA First Class R/T for 93K Points

Below is a look at the week’s top stories and a review of all Live and Let’s Fly posts over the last week. Have a great week ahead!
