The deadline to make changes to your existing Hyatt Gold Passport reservations and still pay the old rate is this Saturday, February 15th. I booked a couple nights at the Park Hyatt Paris – Vendôme for this summer under the old rate of 22,000 points per night, but did not get the dates I wanted–everything was sold out and very few days offered Gold Passport redemption space. Since then, I have closely monitored hyatt.com for changes to award space, hoping that additional space would be released before the 2/15 change deadline. Happily, I found this morning that there is now award space nearly every day this summer at the Park Hyatt Paris – Vendôme.
Even at the new 30,000 points/night rate, you are still getting an amazing 3.6 cents per point with a daily rate of 890EUR/night. If you are considering a trip to Paris this summer or autumn and wish to use Hyatt points, now is the time to lock in your room.
