Brussels Airlines Award Space Returns to united.com

Shielded from the user-friendly united.com, Brussels Airlines has been one of the hidden secrets of my award booking business for several months. Award space is generous in both economy and business class and Brussels Airlines serves both Washington Dulles and New York Kennedy from its BRU hub. With a sleek lie-flat seat and a relatively easy connection experience in Brussels, I have booked many on Brussels Airlines over the last year. Now, United Airlines has restored the ability to book award space with Brussels Airlines online, meaning LOT Polish, Shenzhen, and Singapore Airlines are the only three Star Alliance carriers hidden from united.com. Say goodbye to this award space!

While I sulk over this news, the ease in booking Brussels Airlines online now means that more connections in Europe are available and Brussels’ extensive African network is also bookable online. Happy as I am to see these flights more readily available, it was nice to have an ace up the sleeve that will now inevitably be eaten up, just as Turkish, Swiss, and EVA were soon after being bookable on united.com.

But at least for today, there is plenty of space avaibale…
