Point The Way Café, the newest Priority Pass restaurant at Los Angeles International Airport, is worth a stop if you find yourself near Terminal 6.
The restaurant accepts non-American Express issued Priority Pass cards between the hours of 1:00PM and 11:00PM daily. You (and up two guests) are entitled to $28/each in credit…which actually does not go all that far here.
You’ll notice, much like Rock & Brews in Terminal 1, there is a takeout section and sit-down section. Your Priority Pass credit is only good in the dining room or bar, not the take-away area.
The two-sided, single page menu includes a mix of healthy-sounding but relatively unhealthy American food, with some Asian and Southwest influence.

Priority Pass members are given an additional laminated sheet with further instructions. I think the purpose of this is the red bold lettering noting that tipping is not included.
I’ve dined at Point The Way Café four times in the last month so I can offer commentary on a quartet of dishes.
The best meal I’ve had was the steak frittes. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and the herbs on top nicely accented the taste of the meat. With the salad and french fries, it made for a hearty and delicious meal.
Salmon, served with barley quinoa and bok choy, was also tasty.
As was the achiote grilled chicken breast.
But the turkey melt? Not my favorite dish and not recommenced. It was soggy, lukewarm, and greasy.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the coffee. Notice the beautiful manual coffee machine:
But the cappuccino was horrible. Scalding hot and far too weak…I just left it. The nearby Alaska Lounge offers far superior coffee.
Remember, tipping is not included. Please tip your waiter or waitress generously (I say this as someone who hates tipping).
CONCLUSION
This is an extremely convenient restaurant for me with good food overall. I’m already on a first-name basis with the host and hostess and now will often arrive a bit early for a meal before my flight.

Yes, there is no “departure” on the prioritypass page. There are pages that say “departure” only but it isn’t here.
