Amazing: Watch Tom Cruise Ride Motorcycle Off Cliff In Norway

I am amazed by the bravery of Tom Cruise…so much so, that it warrants this post. And yes, I’ll link it to travel.

Tom Cruise And “Adventure” Travel

Cruise is filming the next installment of Mission Impossible and the 60-year-old actor performs his own stunts. Check out Cruise literally driving a motorcycle off a cliff, free-falling for what looks like thousands of feet, then parachuting like a feather to the ground.

TOM CRUISE is a maniac!

Here is a clip of him filming the latest MISSION IMPOSSIBLE movie…

So impressive. And it reminded me of how I do not travel. Some people are all about climbing mountains, swimming in rivers, and embracing the great outdoors through fairly daredevil stunts.

Not me.

My sun allergy partially prevents this, but it goes beyond it. I am happy just sitting and reading a book or writing. When I travel, the highlight is often not even the destination, but getting a good rest each night and a sumptuous breakfast.

I have been blessed by architectural and natural wonders around the world, from the artwork of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg to the beauty in Machu Picchu, from the intricacies of the Taj Mahal up close to the overwhelming thunder of Victoria Falls.

And yet I will leave the mountain climbing to others. Jumping out of airplanes or even getting on a motorcycle does not excite me much. Sure, I’ll gun it on a Seadoo and even get up to 240 km/hr on the Autobahn (which is probably about the most dangerous and foolish things I do), but I’m not about to drive off a cliff. In fact, my palms get sweaty just going up to the edge of a cliff.

Look, I’ve been to Iraq and Afghanistan during the wars there. I’ve been interrogated in Iran and Belarus, bribed my way out of Kazakhstan, and been accused of being an American spy in Cuba. I’ve had my adventures. But if I’m in the air, it will be from the comfort of my airline seat, not in a motorcycle…

Not a fan since he started the couch jumping about how great his cult of space aliens is.

He’s an Operating Thetan of the highest order and has full control of Matter/Energy/Time/Space (MEST). There is no reason for him to be “brave” as he can wave away danger with barely a thought.

The DC-8 like spacecraft Xenu used to bring billions of people to earth could be an interesting topic here. Maybe Cruise would grant an interview about it?

Physically, Tom Cruise is an inspiration, especially to us Baby Boomers.
My upcoming flight to Auckland in a United Polaris lie flat seat is enough of a physical challenge for me.

And what happens if he has a problem? A multi-million dollar movie in the garbage? There is a reason that leading men and women don’t do their own stunts.
