Trump Congratulates Delta For “Embracing MAGA” After Manual Update

President Donald Trump is praising Delta Air Lines for “embracing MAGA” after an internal manual update referenced “Gulf of America” and “Notice to Airmen,” changes Delta says reflect FAA direction rather than politics.

Trump Congratulates Delta For “Embracing MAGA” After Manual Uses “Gulf Of America”

Trump shared a screenshot of a Delta Air Lines “revision highlights” memo that replaced “Gulf of Mexico” with “Gulf of America” and referred to “Notice to Airmen.” He characterized the update as Delta “finally embracing MAGA.” Multiple outlets picked up the post and reported on the wording change.

From a Delta Captain: “I thought you would get a kick out of this. Delta’s official memo to employees. Big changes Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America. And the liberals thought Notice to Airman was racist to they changed it to Notice to Air Missions. Delta just changed it back to Notice to Airman. I think they are finally embracing MAGA.”

a screenshot of a document

Delta has indicated the language reflects regulatory direction and standardization rather than a political statement, pointing to FAA mandates for terminology harmonization in company publications.

“Those changes were mandated by the FAA.”

The airline did not frame the change as an endorsement of any political movement.

  • Gulf Of America: Trump has advocated using “Gulf of America” domestically; mapping and chart references vary by jurisdiction and context.
  • Notice To Airmen: The FAA changed the long-standing term to “Notice to Air Missions” in 2021 to be more inclusive. Operators sometimes reference either term depending on documentation cycles and system updates.

Airline manuals are updated frequently to align with regulatory guidance and company standards. While political leaders may celebrate wording they favor, carriers typically implement terminology changes to remain compliant and consistent across charts, training, and flight operations.

This appears to be a documentation update that intersected with politics. Delta’s operational focus is compliance and clarity for crews. The broader debate over terminology will continue, but I would not read too much into this particular change.

CONCLUSION

Trump congratulated Delta for what he framed as “embracing MAGA” after a manual update referenced “Gulf of America” and “Notice to Airmen.” Delta characterizes the change as regulatory alignment, not a political pivot. Either way, the update represents a remark.

Stories are going around that Trump shared something in common with Sean Combs: homo-erotic interest in naked men in a state of sexual arousal. But Epstein’s dead, Netanyahu and Putin have Trump just where they like him, and child molester Ghislaine Maxwell is being bribed by Trump to publicly claim that Trump wasn’t a co-criminal with Jeffrey Epstein in trafficking girls for sexual abuse by each other and by themselves.

Nothing more pitiful than man-children crybabies wanting to take the world backwards because of their unresolved psychological damages from childhoods of their own making.

As he comments on absurd points like this the following is happening right before our eyes:

    1. Jobs are stalling and we are headed towards higher unemployment in the coming months.
    2. Prices are rising in appliances, furniture, and clothing. All signs are pointing to other sectors going up as well.
    3. Trump’s precious Oil Industry is actually laying off record number of workers as the industry slumps.
    4. Manufacturing has been shrinking now for six months
    5. Tariffs are squeezing small businesses and it’s going to come to a head this holiday season with expected bankruptcy for many.
    6. China, Russia, and India are forming a new world order to spite us.
    7. We have alienated our closest allies in Canada, UK and the EU.
    8. The Fed is being squeezed into a corner because of tariffs and slowdowns to lower rates – yet knowing full well that tariffs will eventually lead to greater inflation and the end result may lead to stagflation.
    9. Experts in Science, Technology, Finance, Defense, and Health are being systematically gutted from positions thereby weakening our nation dramatically.
    10. The Epstein files are looming and the truth will surface.

Yet, with all of this to worry about, he talks about Delta Airlines and Notice to Airmen.

          • Antwerp
            September 6, 2025 at 7:12 pm

Other than the Epstein files and stagflation, not sure what is a “could happen.” It appears to all be very much apparent in real time and the numbers don’t lie. And we know where these numbers lead. I’m not interested in arguing about culture wars, fascism, or libs. At this point the numbers matter. And that is what Americans are starting to see in real time. He is the President, I accept that. As such, fix the burning house before you stop and comment to those running for their lives that the curtains are nice. If the economy craters, as it appears to be heading unless something is rapidly done, no one is going to care about immigration or “woke” or America first. They will care about themselves and do whatever is needed to end it.

I think that was more like ‘thumbing its nose’ … or better yet … giving the ‘middle finger’ to Trump and the MAGA’ots rather than embracing them.

Antwerp: thanks for part of the endless list of disasters that Trump and MAGA are perpetrating. Unfortunately, MAGAmorons (sorry for the redundancy) like Douchebag Dave Edwards and Sch*tt Hsuan and Dirtbag Derek are so stupid and selfish and deviant to think of all that as “winning”.

Unfortunately, when there’s a resurgence of polio in Florida, those afflicted will not be able to sue Trump or DeathSantis or the (widely discredited) Florida Surgeon General and it will be far enough in the future that none of them will still be in office to face any consequences.

Antwerp, you omitted one thing, the weaponization of every part of government, attacking and arresting political opponents at will. Amazing how much we heard about weaponization of government during Biden‘s administration but nowadays, we don’t hear a peep. Other than, for those who are intelligent enough to see it, the lawyer appointed by the DOJ to investigate the fed governor for mortgage fraud, which many GOP politicians have done, is on some Weaponization of Government subcommittee.

And of course let’s not forget that Biden’s son getting paid $100,000 is grounds for impeachment while at the same time Trump‘s son-in-law getting $50,000,000,000 from Saudi Arabia (immediately after Trump let them off the hook for murder) is perfectly fine and dandy.

Douchebag Dave Edwards & Dirtbag Derek & Sch*tt Hsuan, proving with your every (too frequent) comment that your nicknames are absolutely accurate and completely deserved and that you each have nothing better to do with your pathetic waste-of-oxygen lives than to post abhorrent and revolting comments here over and over again every single day. “Didn’t Earn It”. The Civil Rights Act of 1964, signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson, officially prohibiting discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. It CLEARLY outlaws segregation in public places and facilities, such as restaurants, theaters, and schools, and also made employment discrimination illegal. If that is the case, someone explain why DEI needed to be “awokened” in the first place? Enforce the law as it is written. George Orwell’s book, “Animal Farm” perfectly describes DEI. “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others”. One only has to look at hiring by corporations AND the government who ignore the rule of law (Civil Rights Act), regardless of political persuasion, and hire people BASED on what is clearly against the law. The liberals will jump on this but one only has to look at the Biden administration which, in the words of the President himself, would appoint a woman of color to the Supreme Court Of The United States. Isn’t that a clear violation of the Civil Rights Act? Is this person qualified because of the curriculum viate or because of DEI? When one looks at that appointment, that person was clearly a fish out of water when it comes to being a Justice. This isn’t absolving other political entities because they are equally guilty. However, DEI clearly shows a pervasive way to ignore “meritocracy”.

Stop the utterly racist and offensive bullshit of calling Kentanji Brown unqualified. Seriously.

Second, have an actual clue what DEI is.. other than what FoxNews and our child rapist president says.

Third, have an actual clue what the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is and does.

Getting sick and tired of bullshit diversion from the child rapist President destroying America.

Brown Jackson is the best Justice on the Supreme Court. And she’s not corrupt as hell, she has no history of being a sexual predator, and she didn’t commit a crime in Congress during her confirmation hearings. That makes her far more qualified than all the Trump apologists on the Supreme Court who have enabled Trump to be a wannabe king with their impunity ruling and use of the shadow docket.

Make America great again by getting rid of Trumpublican/Vancian nonsense — that includes all these kiss-up efforts to appease Trumpublicans.

I grew up as a kid in Texas playing in the Gulf of Mexico, and it will be the Gulf of Mexico even after people celebrate Trump’s end the way Cuban-Americans in Florida celebrated Castro’s demise.
