Watch An 84-Year-Old Challenge TSA Agent To Push-Up Contest

TSA Pushups

It’s nice to smile once in a while, especially when talking about the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The challenge of an 84-year-old Army vet provides exactly that opportunity.

Lieutenant Colonel Maggie DeSanti was flying to Washington, DC on an Honor Flight. She is a former Army Nurse and Vietnam veteran who rappelled down from helicopters to treat wounded soldiers in Vietnam.

Honor Flight is a non-profit group that flies veterans to Washington, DC to see the memorials of the war(s) in which they fought. Honor Flight sponsors the flights while its volunteer take care of the vets while in the District.

While going through security at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), DeSanti challenged a TSA agent to 10 pushups. The agent agreed.

Watch the video below:

84-year-old Lt Colonel Maggie DeSanti, who served as an Army nurse during the Vietnam War, proved age is just a number—after she challenged a TSA agent to a pushup contest. https://t.co/PsoOVbNlX4 pic.twitter.com/mX6UA7tU4O

“Age is but a number” is a cliche. There is some truth to it, but the human body does age in a quite predictable pattern and seeing an 84-year-old perform pushups on the ground at an airport while in full uniform is quite impressive.

Congrats to Lt. Col. DeSanti and kudos to the friendly TSA officer.

It’s far more than just interesting. It’s fraud.

          I haven’t seen a definitive link.

Matthew, just in case you need references (the internet being a big place and all):

Don Shipley, famous for outing phony Navy SEALs, has outed Maggie DeSanti:

            https://videos.extremesealexperience.com/movie_Phony-Army-Nurse-Of-The-Week

Apparently, he was interviewed by Inside Edition to expose Maggie as a fraud. That’s supposed to air sometime soon.

Then there are the websites that have very professional people who watch out for stolen valor cases to protect the legacy and interest of our veterans who served honorably in the military:

            https://militaryphony.com/2019/10/21/margaret-maggie-desanti-us-army-nurse-lieutenant-colonel-silver-star-vietnam-ods-s-blog-of-shame/

            https://valorguardians.com/blog/?p=57300

            https://valorguardians.com/blog/?p=92064

Some in the media caught on pretty quickly after they saw the evidence:

            https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/10/media_faked_out_by_84yearold_phony_vietnam_veteran_army_nurse.html

            https://www.military.com/daily-news/2019/10/21/military-service-claims-army-nurse-viral-video-called-question.html

Doug Sterner, one of the czars of outing valor thieves (oh, and he wrote a really good book about it) is being quoted, lending credibility to the notion that Maggie DeSanti was never a veteran.

But in case you are confused about what is a definitive link, her service records were ordered via FOIA using her SSN, variations on her name, and other methods that would have brought up some kind of records. There were no results. And don’t worry – even if her records had been caught up in the fire, there would still be pay stubs for her, which are stored in a different location.

This woman is a fraud and has been for a long time. She has duped people out of THOUSANDS of dollars meant for real veterans. Don’t let her age lull you into a sense of forgiveness. She’s been doing this a LONG time.

Time to step up and correct this story. It’s the least we can do for our veterans who DID serve. Maggie is not one of them.

The fire of 1973 is not even a factor with this phony. According to her awards she has the Saudi and Kuwait liberation medals, those are from DS/DS in 1991. Her records would not have gone to NPRC till after her retirement, so if she was in DS/DS in 91 there is no way her records could have been at NPRC in 1973.
