Where in the World Am I?

Matthew Klint Posted onJune 23, 2016December 5, 2016 2 Comments

I don’t post the “sorry I’ve been busy” excuses that some travel bloggers post when they go for several days between writing. Blogging is indeed a business, but still not my primary occupation. I consider it “fun” and as a break when I am able to write.

Part of the balance of maintaining a travel blog is collecting content versus writing. Collecting is always fun while writing requires great time and discipline. Indeed, I have fallen so far behind on my trip reports that I do not know whether I will ever catch up. But my intentions are noble and if you do happen to wonder where I’ve been lately, let me just show you this map–

Yes, that’s me and all this month. Last month was similar and July will be too. Part of it is my “last hurrah” with AA miles — I made a number of very strategic redemptions that I am embarking on now. Part of it is that I am front-loading travel now because I will need to be home this fall and winter for various reasons.

So this is indeed a season of travel and if days turn into weeks and weeks into months and I am still not getting my reports up, I think I am just going to post the pictures — I think many of you just look at the pictures anyway.

But for now, it’s back to boarding my next flight.
