A Peek Inside the Chairman Suite – Park Hyatt Beijing

Carly Stewart Posted onJune 10, 2018November 14, 2023 3 Comments

The Park Hyatt Beijing is one of our favorite Hyatt properties for their attention to details, elegant rooms and their extravagant breakfast. During a past stay a few years ago, we were given a tour of the Chairman Suite, the largest suite available at the property. Here’s a glimpse into the 240 square-meter room located on the 49th floor.

Work Space

The Chairman Suite is equipped with plenty of space for getting work done. There is a separate office space with a large desk, chairs and doors that close this space off from the rest of the room. From the office you can walk into a conference room with a large, long table surrounded by chairs. The conference room also has the ability to be completely closed off, keeping work spaces and personal spaces separate.

Sitting Area

At the end of the room just outside the conference room you will find the sitting area that seems to be split into two separate sections. An area with a couch and a few other seats is situated in the far end corner, while closer to the television there are four larger sitting chairs and a few small tables. The television seemed quite small for such a large space, especially if you wanted to relax back on the couch.

Kitchen

This photo doesn’t do this space justice. The kitchen area is large and fully equipped. Also just over the stove top there is a large hood that I didn’t capture. You can request to have a chef come and cook for you in the comfort of your suite.

Guest Bathroom

No need to really go into detail here, but there is a Japanese toilet which is always a bonus.

Master Bedroom

From where I was standing when I took this photo there is also a desk the same size as the one in the office space equipped with outlets. The bedroom has two King size beds facing the large windows that give lovely views of the Beijing Business District.

Bathroom

The bathroom in this suite (and in the smaller suites we have stayed in at this property) is made to feel like your own personal spa. This space is open and inviting. There is a large soaking tub, a steam shower, separate toilet room, two vanities, massage table/chaise lounge and a walk-in closet space.

Overall Impression

Of course we would love to stay in the Chairman Suite if we had the opportunity to do so, but other than the large working areas ideal for those in Beijing on business, we have been quite satisfied with the Park King Suites at this property. If I could go back in time, I would tell myself to take better pictures during this tour – something that has improved slightly over the last few years as Kyle and I have attempted to take better photos for the blog.

What I love most about this property: The beds, bathrooms, butlers and the breakfast are what have made our stays at the Park Hyatt Beijing really stand out.

Who showed you around? My friend from college is the GM there. I had the Penthouse suite last time I was there. It’s nice but not a very good use of space.

      James,

I seem to be drawing a blank on the young lady’s name that showed us around but she is pictured above in the sitting area with our daughter.

I was curious about the PH Suite. I thought the split level was interesting but the photos on the website don’t give a real feel to the space.
