First Look: Spacious New Capital One Lounge At JFK

Capital One has opened its newest and largest lounge yet, this time at New York JFK’s Terminal 4. While JFK isn’t exactly hurting for premium lounge space, this 13,500-square-foot facility adds something the others lack: 24/7 opening (starting next month).

This is Capital One’s fourth lounge, and it feels like the company has learned from earlier efforts. From a Murray’s Cheese station to a custom IPA brewed in Brooklyn, the focus here is less on cookie-cutter luxury and more on offering amenities that cater to comfort with local touches. Let’s take a look at what to expect:

Lounge Details

  • Opening date: June 19, 2025
  • Opening hours:
    • June 19–July 2: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
    • July 3–16: 6 a.m. – 11 p.m.
    • Starting July 17: Open 24/7
  • Location: Terminal 4, lower-level retail hall, past security
  • Size: ~13,500 square feet
  • Access & pricing:
    • Free for Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders (plus 2 guests…for now)
    • $45 per visit for Venture and Spark Miles cardholders
    • $90 per visit for non-cardholders ($25 for kids 17 and under; free for kids under 2)
    • Entry allowed up to 3 hours before departure (and strictly enforced)

Amenities & Comfort

  • Private shower suites with Dyson dryers and full amenities
  • Parent’s room with bottle warmer and family restrooms
  • Power at every seat and high-speed Wi-Fi
  • Flight information displays throughout the lounge
  • NYC-inspired design with Central Park-style seating and custom artwork

CONCLUSION

The Capital One Lounge at JFK is the company’s most premium yet and the 24/7 service will be a great benefit to travelers departing very early or very late. The JFK lounge is large, polished, and includes local touches that give it more personality than what you’ll find in many airline-operated spaces. With 24/7 hours on the horizon and no shortage of seating or food options, this one’s worth showing up early for  Venture X cardholders. I hope to visit this new lounge soon.

Looks like it could be a really good lounge.

Looks incredible. Not to be a downer, but I hate the note on the bar menu asking for tips. It even goes so far as to say they accept credit card! Such a shameless plug, but I realize that’s just the world (or country) we live in.
