UPDATE: This event has been cancelled due to COVID-19.

After a long hiatus, Frequent Traveler University (FTU) returns with an in-person event in Dallas next month. I’ll be speaking throughout the weekend and look forward to meeting many readers.

FTU Dallas 2021 – A Primer On Miles + Points

While Live and Let’s Fly has focused lately on my personal travels and more tabloid-type stories that make news headlines, FTU Dallas is all about the “meat” of points, miles, and travel in general. I’ll be speaking on a number of topics including:

  • Miles + Points In 2021 – Is It Still Worthwhile?
  • Adventure Travel – 139 Countries and Counting
  • United Airlines vs. American Airlines: Which One Is Better For You?

I’ll also be speaking on stage at the Travel & Adventure Show on miles + points and American vs. United, but aimed more at beginners.

The T&A show will at the Dallas Market Hall near Dallas Love Airport while FTU will be at the adjacent Hilton Garden Inn.

Save $30 – FTU Dallas 2021 Promo Code

Enjoy $30 off sale using code SUMMERSALE through August 15, 201, bringing the two-day event down to $219.

You didn’t list the “how to get Covid and infect everyone around you” workshop. Texas is not a safe state right now. This sounds irresponsible to hold an in-person meeting in a state with a health crisis. I’ll take my chances in France any day!!!!

You could just not go? What do you care if others go out and live their life? Have fun staying inside for the rest of your life, but others want to go on and live theirs. Covid is not going away.

No Texas is very safe, more so than CA & NY.

Mary – you need to stop watching television and get out more. Of course you’re welcome stay responsible at home alone, or head over to France. The rest of the world will be getting on with life.
