Great Deals with November 2014 Flying Blue Promo Awards

I have highlighted the value of Air France/KLM Flying Blue Promo Awards on many occasions, and after several months of rather mediocre sales, November offers a number of discounted awards worth considering.

Air France/KLM tends to release a lot of saver space to its own Flying Blue members, not just on many dates, but multiple seats per flight. With diminished fuel surcharges in economy class (about $200 each way), traveling families wishing to conserve miles will find great value in these economy class promotions – with Europe (and Israel) only 25K miles r/t from the saver cities, this month Houston, Miami, New York, and Washington, DC. Business Class to/from Chicago is 50% off as well, the best deal on the chart. For just 31,250 miles each way you can travel in KLM Business Class, now featuring fully lie-flat seats, to any destination in Europe (and Israel and select poitns in Northern Africa).

To take advantage of this promotion, bookings must be made by 30 November 2014 for travel between 01 Janary and 28 February 2015. Remember that no cancellations or refunds are permitted on these awards and they can only be booked online at flyingblue.com.

Of special note to European readers is Tahiti, which is only 60K r/t in economy class this month from Europe, a great price for four longhaul flights and a ticket to paradise.
