Live and Let’s Fly Weekend Digest: May 27, 2018

Matthew Klint Posted onMay 27, 2018November 14, 2023 Leave a Comment

Los Angeles has been experiencing “May Gray” all week and I love it! Every year around this time I am reminded of how I should be living in London or Seattle…but I digress (while hoping for “June Gloom”).

This week, we learned that Sun Country will cut first class, Delta announced new transcontinental service to Orange County, and a civil war has been fought and won in the Trump Administration over Gulf Carriers and Open Skies.

In the week ahead, I’ll be starting a “classic” (and previously unpublished) trip report from 2016 that will include first class flights on ANA, JAL, and Malaysia Airlines.

Here’s a review of the week’s top stories and a look at all posts on Live and Let’s Fly over the last week.

A story that seemed black and white is actually much more complex. Just who is the victim here?
