Preview of New United Airlines Safety Video

Matthew Klint Posted onAugust 28, 2015December 5, 2016 4 Comments

We’ve seen airline safety videos evolve from tedious reminders of onboard safety to comedic works of art and full-scale productions. Perhaps it is no surprise, then, that United has released a trailer for its upcoming new safety video, entitled Safety is Global II—

With airlines releasing “previews” of new safety videos, we know we are in a whole new era. Delta is just out with a funny new safety video and United’s existing safety video remains enjoyable even almost a year after its release. And let’s not forget Air New Zealand, the leader in the safety video revolution.

So how long till American Airlines comes up with their own humorous spin on airline safety? I reckon sooner rather than later.

Here’s some images from the new video:

And if you cannot wait for more, UA also released this on Twitter (video).

I’m not gonna lie. This was so ridiculous, it was amazing. Loved it.

    Hey Matt,

Is the new United website live today? On my new macbook the home screen shows up as the new and “improved” united.com but when i go to review all my reservations its back to the same old united.com

To be honest, I think all of the videos like this are stupid. I’d like to see something that is short and to the point, rather than being dragged out. I just don’t pay attention anymore (mainly because I’ve been on each plane so many times, always count rows to the exit, etc..) when something like this comes on.

AA has done a great job with their video. I hope it remains for a long time to come.

@Anthony B: I still show the old united.com, but I have not tired clearing my cache. I’ll be using the old United.com for as long as possible.
