Last month, United introduced Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Champagne onboard its Polaris business class cabins, representing a serious upgrade. Travelers on United on Valentine’s Day are in for a “twice as nice” treat with Laurent-Perrier Rosé also loaded–but just for one day.
United Airlines Will Offer Laurent-Perrier Rosé Champagne For Valentine’s Day
A short memo to flight attendants shared with Live And Let’s Fly announced that United will stock its regular champagne and rosé on Valentine’s Day this year, which falls on February 14, 2025:
We’re showing our love for our Polaris customers with a special treat on Valentine’s Day, February 14 only!
With a raspberry hue, Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Rosé champagne evokes the essence of raspberry, red currant, strawberry and black cherry — the perfect way to celebrate this special occasion. This champagne will be available in addition to Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Champagne. If you’re working a flight with La Cuvée Rosé on board, let customers know it’s a Valentine’s Day surprise!
If you’re flying in United Polaris tomorrow and fancy champagne, be sure to ask in case your flight attendants missed this memo.
And maybe, just maybe, this is a tease of what could come in the future? After all, United says it wants to be the best carrier in the world (or ask CEO Scott Kirby, who says United already is the best in the world), but when it comes to the food and beverage program, United still has a ways to go. Qatar Airways, considered by many the leader, including me, of in-flight catering, offers both standard and rosé champagne on every one of its longhaul flights.
It would be great to see United offer the same, which would truly distinguish it from American and Delta. But for now, you can still catch both champagnes if you fly United tomorrow in Polaris.

And while they’re at it why not show some love to the unwashed ‘untouchables’ in the back ? Maybe a crappy American Hersheys Chocolate ‘Kiss’ ? ( just ONE per pax, though ! ) …
That is great champagne. I hope some young couples still in the honeymoon phase get to enjoy it.
