President Biden Lauds United Airlines For Role In “Operation Fly Formula” Mission

As a baby shortage formula in the USA continues, President Joe Biden has enlisted the aid of United Airlines in helping to bridge that supply gap in a mission known as “Operation Fly Formula.”

United Airlines Will Transport Baby Formula For U.S. Government As Part Of “Operation Fly Formula”

United Airlines has agreed to deliver Kendamil infant formula, a British company, from London to the United States at no charge. Approximately 3.7 million 8-ounce bottle equivalents of Kendamil infant formula will be placed on US-bound United flights from London Heathrow and delivered to multiple airports. This will take place over a 2-3 week period beginning on June 9, 2022.

President Biden lauded United Airlines during a press conference on the matter, stating:

“I want to thank United Airlines for partnering with us to get this done. They’re doing it on their own.”

The initial shipments will go to Target stores and be available for purchase in the coming weeks. Biden has invoked the Defense Production Act, which authorizes the president to require businesses to accept and prioritize contracts for materials deemed necessary for national defense, regardless of a loss incurred on business.

United, now a Biden Administration favorite over its voluntary vaccine mandate and emphasis on environmental stewardship, is the first airline to donate Operation Fly Formula flights. We will see if other airlines now follow United’s lead.

More like an administration and a company working together to find solutions together. That’s what grown ups do.

Under USMCA (trumps renegotiated nafta for those not paying attention) baby formula imports from Canada were restricted.

Also, Trump Era food safety regulation rollbacks (you know, your prized deregulation) allowed the hygiene problems that started the formula recalls and triggered the shortage.

These are things tucker Carlson won’t tell you, so once again Biden has to clean up after a time bomb that Trump left him exploded.

          Thank you President Biden!

Let me be very brief here. You are so wrong. Pay attention on the source of information you get this crap. As a way of introduction, I worked for many years in a company that produced most of the ingredients that goes in the baby formula. A US based company. I am now an investor in a company related to baby formula business. Teleprompter Biden knows nothing about running a country. He focuses on inflicting pain now so maybe the future generations can change. Read electric cars. He is clueless about anything related to supply chain. Biden stupid pandemic restrictions is what caused labor shortage (both not able to work or not wanting to work because he gave away free money) is what caused food safety to go to the drain. No FDA inspectors to do the work. Trump is gone so stop blaming him for what the dirty diaper guy is doing in this country.

Biden has nothing to do with the supply chain you fox news parrot. Your old employment is irrelevant, this is now, there are different challenges. Your investments mean nothing unless you sit on the board of directors and know the ins and outs. Why are we now able to get these formula shipments from other countries now when we couldn’t before? A major plant that produces that produces Similac and other brands is shut down. Are you trying to say this is not the main cause of the shortage?

Bidens “stupid pandemic restrictions” which were minimal, have nothing to do with the supply chain crisis. It’s China. We get components for almost everything these days from China and they just shut their main distribution cities down for a month. How is that Bidens fault? I know because I CURRENTLY deal with this everyday in my line of work. The labor shortage is not because people are living fat off the $1200 they got over a year ago. It’s because companies like Amazon are paying more than minimum wage so cheapskate companies are out of luck.

Plus I’ve gotten raises totaling about 25% since Biden took office… so bring on more of that pain he is inflicting!

            Another Biden apologist.
You keep making excuses for Bidens failures.

We didn’t have these issues when Trump was president and the election hadn’t been stolen.

We didn’t have these issues under Trump? I seem to remember going from store to store trying to find a roll of toilet paper. Just because your life sucks doesn’t mean it’s bidens fault. I did well with trump as president, but ive done even better with Biden. Long live President Biden! 4 more years!
