Steven Slater is a Liar!

Matthew Klint Posted onAugust 18, 2010 2 Comments

Well, at least that’s what some passengers are saying. Then again, they could just be trying to get their 15 minutes of fame like Mr. Slater has very successfully done. Nevertheless, the news hasn’t been good for suspended JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater this week. More passengers are coming forward with claims that he was rude and obnoxious the entire flight. His own account of the onboard skirmish remains uncorroborated. And he now admits that he’s been thinking of deploying the emergency slide for two decades!

Again, I will reserve personal judgement until all the facts come out. I am, however, more suspicious after watching these two videos:

    Matthew,
Love your posts…particularly your trip reports. However, you’re headline can’t read, “Steven Slater is a Liar!,” while at the same time saying you’re going to reserve judgment. I believe his story is awfully fishy as well…but jus sayin.

Hey Ward! Thanks for weighing in. I try to choose headlines that will get people to read my posts, as you just did! I think a headline saying, “I don’t know if Steven Slater is a Liar” would be a bit less deceiving, but would lead to much fewer click throughs. And many are calling him a liar, as I stated. I just don’t want to subject myself to a slander lawsuit…yet. 😉
