Do you ever land and find that you are about 15 minutes away from finishing your movie? That happens to me from time to time and my solution is usually to wait for my next flight…which is not always a day or two later. Air France has addressed this with a new “Cinema to Go” program that lets you finish — or even watch — movies at home.
This is not as big as it sounds, but I see potential in this —
During the Cannes film festival (through 21 May 2016), Air France is letting customers traveling between Los Angeles and Paris to watch onboard “Cannes Film Festival selection” at home as well. A code will be provided by the airline that will work for a limited time after your flight.
Still, we are not talking about a few movies — Air France boasts that the Cannes library contains over 1200 hours of film, more than enough for a serious movie binge.
