Amazon Prime Day Picks: Business Travelers

I travel for work nearly every week and Amazon Prime Day is like my own personal Christmas in July. Here are my picks for business travelers. You will need an Amazon Prime Account to shop the deals, but if you don’t have one get a free 30-day trial here.

If you are considering booking travel or signing up for a new credit card please click here. Both support LiveAndLetsFly.com.

If you haven’t followed us on Facebook or Instagram, add us today.

Amazon Business Account

Did you know they have Amazon Business accounts? We have other business accounts but I hadn’t added one from Amazon before. It includes special discounts, other payment options (invoicing, etc.) – to qualify you must be a verified business, but why not sign up?

Chargers and Batteries

Whether I am flying in a seat without power or just on the go, I have one monster charging brick. While I usually favor items that are small and light, this is the one area where I’ll tolerate something larger for performance reasons. My favorite one isn’t on sale, but these are good buys and anything over 20,000 Ahmz with a USB-C cord will charge a Macbook Pro 13″ from zero in about two hours.

Good – ExpertPower 20,000 mAh Battery pack – $15

Better – Anker Three-port supercharger battery pack – $42

Best – Three-port Charger with Digital Display output – $40

Amazon Products

Audible – $5 for 3 months (three audiobooks)

I listen to Audible any time I am alone and moving. Walking through an airport, driving my rental car, pretty much all the time. I highly recommend it, and I will give you a book I loved that I recently finished. Elon Musk: Tesla, Space X and the quest for a Fantastic Future. He has revolutionized every industry he has touched, eCommerce, Electric Cars, Aerospace, Boring, Solar and I’m guessing Neuralink is going to be pretty impressive. Cancel anytime, it’s $15/month after the trial period.

Amazon Fire Stick – $15 (for hotel TVs)

This basic Fire Stick is a hotel TV ninja. Some hotels lock out access to anything other than their entertainment, but they are few and far between lately. This $15 Fire Stick also comes with a $45 credit to streaming service Sling. If you’d rather two free months of HBO, use this link for the $15 Fire Stick.

Amazon Fire Stick 4K – $25 (home use for 4k TV use)

Amazon Fire Tablet – $30-65 (dependent on size)

Luggage

I have reviewed Away and other bags but my favorite is still my Rimowa Topas. Unfortunately… that won’t make the list but here are some that I would gladly recommend to those looking for something a little less expensive.

Good – AmazonBasics Hardside Spinner with TSA locks – $60

Better – American Tourister Koffer Hardside Omni-Directional Spinner – $69

Best – Elegant Leather Duffel – $170

Headphones

Whether you’re trying to drown out the droning engines, a crying baby or chatty Kathy (no offense, Kathy) headphones are a must. I am in the market for some new ones and I am narrowing my choices between Better and Best on this list for very different reasons.

Good – Phillips Upbeat Wireless In-Ear Headphones – $100

Better – Apple Airpods – $145

Best – Sony Over-Ear Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones – $90

What deals did you grab? What should have been on this list but wasn’t?
