I spent a week in Doha, the capital of Qatar, and enjoyed many great cups of coffee…and did not even have to venture out far.
Best Coffee In Doha, Qatar
In one sense, I’m sure I missed out on some great independent coffee shops like Nomad or Café 42 or Evergreen Organics. On the other hand, the coffee was so good at the two hotels I stayed at that it did not make sense to go out for coffee.

There was no need to venture anywhere beyond the ground level for my coffee fix while staying at the Four Seasons Doha. Le Deli Roubuchon specializes in gourmet pastries, coffee, and tea. I skipped the pastries, though they looked good, and enjoyed no less than a dozen flat whites during my stay at the hotel.
The coffee was bold and strong…exactly the way I liked it. I’m increasingly moving from cappuccinos (more milk) to flat whites or even cortados (halfway to espresso, but a bit more milk than a macchiato) and the coffee here did not disappoint.
One note – the hotel also offers coffee in Seasons Tea Lounge, which was arguably more beautiful in terms of presentation and latte art, but not as strong.

I quite enjoyed lounging in alfresco on the Sikkat Wadi in Doha’s Msheireb Downtown. This café has a large menu of coffee, tea, juice, smoothies, and sandwiches, cakes, and salads as well.
My flat white was perfectly presented and delicious.
CONCLUSION
Doha offers many cafés. For my trip, I chose to remain local and while I may have paid higher prices, I enjoyed excellent coffee. I recommend both places whether you are staying at the hotels or not. The coffee culture in Doha is catching on.
No wonder the coffe at Le Deli Robuchon was good. The machine you photographed is a Faema E61 Legend which is the Holy Grail of Coffee Machines. The original E61, released in 1961 was a seminal machine and Faema have re released an udpated version. though they are quite rare. The front of the machine which is only jost visible in the mirror in your photograph is beautlifuuly designed and lit up.
Great machine indeed!
Nice. I’ll be in DOH in a few weeks 2x with only 2h or so for layovers. Any coffee recommendations at airport or just enjoy the Al Mourjan?
Coffee in Al Mourjan lounge is also good, but don’t use any of the automatic machines downstairs – there is a very nice coffee machine up in the restaurant. Have a coffee up there (Arabic coffee also excellent).
Just want to make sure I’m doing the conversion right…these coffees were over $12 a piece??
You are, and is just ridiculous
Earth Organic Coffee, which is just a few blocks down the street from the Park Hyatt, was really solid during my stay in October. Very good quality espresso and tasty flavored coffee-based beverages as well.
