FTU Returns To Southern California – Save $50 On Your Ticket

For the last decade, I’ve spoken at Frequent Traveler University (FTU) events around the nation and I invite you to join me for a great discussion about miles, points, and travel in beautiful Orange County, California next month.

FTU Orange Country 2022 – November 12-13, 2022

From November 12-13, 2022 a group of lovely speakers (and also me…) will be speaking on miles, points, airlines, travel, and manufactured spending. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Stefan Krasowski, Rapid Travel Chai
  • Victoria M Walker, Contributor, New York Times
  • Senitra Horbrook, Credit Cards Editor, The Points Guy
  • Grant Thomas, Travel with Grant
  • Kevin Song
  • Chris Carley, Eye of the Flyer
  • Ben Komenkul, Ben’s Big Deal
  • Maricris Palentinos, Finesse Traveler
  • Carissa Rawson, Just Plane Points

I’ll be speaking twice on Saturday, with a morning session on adventure travel (come hear about my past adventures and some adventures I’m planning…) and then an afternoon session on Star Alliance, specifically comparing Air Canada Aeroplan and United MileagePlus (I hold elite status in both programs).

The event will take place at the Back Bay Conference Center (3415 Michelson Drive, Irvine, CA 92612), which is located near John Wayne Airport (SNA).

This marks the first big FTU since 2019 and I’ve found our California events among the most fun over the years. Through the weekend, tickets are discounted from $249 to $199 (discounted further if you are FTU Online member).

There are additional social events available too, including bowling on Saturday night and games, go-karts, and miniature golf at Boomers Irvine, located next door to the event venue.

CONCLUSION

I know several readers have already messaged me that they are coming and I hope to meet many more of you over that weekend. I’ll probably be taking Augustine along, so stop by to say hello if you want to meet the future of the blog as well and hear what his favorite airplanes and airlines are!

This is a dangerous and irresponsible event. You should be ashamed of yourself for promoting it. Case numbers are through the roof right now and we all need to do our part to flatten the curve. Stay home, stay safe, save lives.

Where’s the cocaine guy? Can’t gave a travel event considered legitimate without him showing up looking for c#ck & coke. And Back Bay sounds like a place for him.

But seriously it’s great to see big events like this occurring again.
