As we end the week, let’s end it on a lighter note and turn our attention to Mexico, where a pigeon has made headlines around the world for his failed attempt to be a stowaway on a flight.

Unsuspecting Stowaway Pigeon Launched From Airplane Wing

While taxiing out of Mexico City, Fernando noticed a pigeon perched on the wing of his aircraft. The bird was apparently totally unaware of what was going to happen next:

Wee Willie Wasp has met his match…this brave little pigeon (or stupid one or lazy one) has got some spunk. But don’t you know, little bird, that your action is ill eagle? Or  Didn’t you learn anything about physics from Stephen Hawk-wing? Were your trying to get onboard the flight because you heard a new chick flick would be showing? Well, I’m not going to ostrich-size him. The fate of the bird is not clear, but no fowl play is suspected. Nevertheless, police were unable quack the case or apre-hen-d him for trying to fly the coop. Probably too much of a bird-en…

I’ll stop. Cold turkey. But I have no egrets.

Enjoy your weekend. Back on Monday without any puns.

To think I had Matthew pigeon-holed as just a blogger.

“The fate of the bird is not clear…” Let osprey for the bird’s good health.
