For the second year in a row, Turkish Airlines if offering some attractive companion fares in business class during the week of Valentine’s Day. Exceptional values, in particular, are available to Southeast Asia and China.

These discount fares are available to other TK destinations (like the Middle East) as well and available for economy class tickets (€200-€400 + tax for two tickets, depending on destination). Taxes run a few hundred dollars per ticket and these fares do earn RDMs and EQMs.
Here’s some of the rules of the deal:
- This promotion is valid ex-IST.
- Tickets may only be sold in Turkey.
- Ticketing must be completed within 24 hours after reservations are made.
- Must be accompanied on all sectors in same compartment by a passenger in JLOVECP/GLOVECP fare class. No more than 1 accompanied passenger permitted for each JLOVECP/GLOVECP passenger.
- Permitted 09 Feb 11 through 14 Feb 11 on the first international sector.
- Validity of the ticket is 8 day max.
- No minimum stay is required.
- Valid for RT or OJ trips only.
- Valid on any TK flight operated by TK. (Not valid on codeshare flights)
- Changes not permitted in case of noshow / reissue / revalidation.
- Ticket is non-refundable in case of cancel / no-show / refund.
Although "tickets may only be sold in Turkey" you can take advantage of this deal by calling TK’s reservation center at +90 212 444 0 849 (you can try the [USA] toll-free number at 800-874-8875 but may not be told the fare is not available).
Your only problem now is to find a way to Istanbul!
Where’s the “companion must be of opposite sex” restriction?
@Gene: I didn’t see that on FT or on TK’s website. Is that a requirement?
