Last Saturday evening I sat down to a late dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in Newport Beach with a nagging thought in the back of mind that I was forgetting something. Moments later, I received a text message from my brother asking me if I had taken advantage of the American Express "Small Business Saturday" promotion I had blogged about a few weeks ago.
Now I remembered what I had forgotten…
It was 10:45p and the food had already been ordered–too late to go to a "small business" restaurant. I consigned myself to buying some junk food at an independent liquor store on the way home, but first pulled up the terms and conditions of the offer on my iPhone to insure that my purchase would qualify.
Lo and behold, I found the deal had been extended to December 31st. If you haven’t already registered, do so here (registration is limited to 300,000) and be sure to support a small business by spending at least $25 by the end of the year.
