Austrian Airlines to Launch Vienna-Mumbai Route

Matthew Klint Posted onJune 9, 2010November 14, 2023 2 Comments

Austrian Airlines will be starting Vienna-Mumbai service this October and increase service to New Delhi from five to six flights per week.

I’ve never had a chance to fly Austrian Airlines (though I am considering a trip to Iraq with them) but I’ve heard some very good things about their service and would also love to return to India. LH F is LH F, but OS’s two-class Business Class is almost like getting First Class for the price of Business Class.

Austrian also occasionally offers discounted Business Class fares on their intercontinental flights. I’ll be keeping my eyes out for deals.

When going to India try LX via ZRH. They have their new metal on that route. Should be superior in C to OS and LH. LX will beat OS C or LH F hands down.

@Hamurabi: I flew in LX C when I visited India last year (old A332 C). Since then, I have tried their new C product ex-JFK. Indeed, LX’s A333s are fabulous.
