Girl, your plan worked perfectly. A popular online fitness influencer is being torched for her decision to ostentatiously exercise in the middle of an Emirates flight in business class. And now I am aware of someone who otherwise never would have been on my radar…
Fitness “Influencer” Exercises In Aisle On Emirates Flight, Then Brags About It
37-year-old Mexican fitness influencer Barbara de Regil flew “35 hours” on Emirates (of course flights are not that long, but why let the truth get in the way of a good story?) with her husband and filmed herself “working out” on the flight…right in the aisle of the 777 business class cabin. She was even wearing Emirates pajamas…
Why did she do that?
She claimed she felt “crazy” after sitting for so long and so she had to exercise to release some energy.
Her routine included squat jumps and running in place.

What a shame she could not have done so on her layover, eh? Dubai Airport even has a health club with a fitness center, pool jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room.
Yes, yes, this is very rude behavior (almost, but not quite to the level of playing music without earphones).
Like she cared.
She shrewdly saw the publicity that would come from this. Her deletion of the video above may suggest she did not anticipate the backlash or she may even be smarter than we think and have deliberately deleted it to create even more interest and searching for her.
I wonder if the video only a few seconds because she knew the crew would come charging after her to stop?
Look, Barbara, mission accomplished. I’m talking about you. Others are too. But, you’re not gaining any respect here. I suppose she could not care less…
Should Emirates be able to banish passengers like this to the last row of economy class?

There will be a turning point in society when these antics will be gone. Why needs to happen to get us there is perhaps even more frightening.
Regardless, history will not be kind to their type.
Nor those who help feed and encourage them by giving them the attention that they depend on.
Tough to argue with her about the crazy part…
Stop giving these assholes the attention and publicity they so crave, and one day you may stop being one of them.
The video only lasts a few seconds because she knew she wasn’t the only one that needed to release some energy. And that would have made a more fun content (for me).
“Mexican fitness influencer”. Stopped reading there.
And you’ve played right into her attempt by posting about it here, which you surely must know.
Volunteering feeding and cleaning the sick in understaffed institutions wouldn’t receive priority in the social media algorithms.
Content needs to be created at all costs…
Matthew, I confess—on some empty flights during Covid, I did drop and do some pushups. Nobody saw but I did feel a hint of a feeling this lady obviously doesn’t have.
Oh look, a Mexican jumping bean.
