United Airlines will increase capacity by 75% to and from Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention in July and add 118 flights to and from its hub in Chicago for the Democratic National Convention in August.

United Airlines Adds Nearly 200 Flights For Republican + Democratic Political Conventions

United will increase its service to Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) by more than 75% for the Republican National Convention in July and will offer the largest schedule from its Chicago O’Hare (ORD) hub since 2019 for the Democratic National Convention in August, specifically increasing seats between Chicago O’Hare and Washington Reagan (DCA) by 40%.

The extra service to Milwaukee includes:

  • A new, nonstop flight between MKE and DCA
  • 71 additional flights from United’s hubs in ORD, Newark (EWR), Denver (DEN), Washington Dulles (IAD), and Houston (IAH).
  • 20 roundtrip flights on larger aircraft

New service to Chicago includes:

  • 38 additional flights between ORD and DCA
    • All flights between the airports on peak convention days will be on Boeing 737 MAX 8, with United’s signature interiors
  • More than 80 added flights between ORD and cities including:
    • Albany (ALB)
    • Atlanta (ATL)
    • Austin (AUS)
    • Baltimore (BWI)
    • Boston (BOS)
    • Portland (PDX)
    • Phoenix (PHX)
    • Sacramento (SMF)
    • San Diego (SAN)
    • San Jose (SJC)
    • Seattle (SEA)

In total, United will add 72 flights to and from Milwaukee in July and 118 flights to and from Chicago in August.

Patrick Quayle, United’s Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances, explained:

“These conventions are steeped in tradition and have now evolved to become a weeklong celebration of our political process. We’re proud to give people even more options to visit two great cities, and participate in these historic events and make their voices heard.”

But will they start flying Moscow-Milwaukee for all of those Russian misinformation agents supporting Trump? That’s how it works isn’t that right Matthew?

Come on dude, it’s not like they are actually suporting Trump. They are supporting Trump to divide the nation and weaken America. Every true patriot should be weary of that threat.

Just trying to understand your POV. So only Trump and Republicans work to divide America? You are saying current administration is uniting it? Just to be clear, I don’t like or care for either side but don’t think this current administration is doing anything different than the previous one. The problem in America now is that there is no middle ground anymore. It is either way to one side or to the other.

The only people weakening and dividing America are the insufferable woke cunts and their enablers. I don’t see Russians opening our borders or manipulating children into mutilating themselves. Why need some fake Russian boogyman when the real enemy is right here in this country?

More importantly, how pathetic is your life that you need to incessantly air your shrill political grievances to a bunch of strangers on someone else’s personal travel blog? Lamest troll ever.

Trump, Biden, and Harris all divide the nation. A true American patriot would support none of them. The best situation would be a President Biden who is prohibited from deciding on tax matters or a President Trump who is prohibited from deciding on matters related to Russia.

A President Biden would also be assigned a geriatric neurologist to review all of his decisions to see if there is dementia and/or dementia related bad judgment involved. A President Trump would also be assigned a psychiatrist to review all of his decisions to make sure it doesn’t involve a personal vendetta.

Either President would be required to have DEI (diversity) to include frequent flyers to make sure that the rights of frequent flyers are protected.

I’d rather be a Russian than a Democrat.

The love for Russia (like Tucker’s amazement over a grocery store when he was in Moscow) is absolutely perplexing in a country that locks up or shoves out the window those who do not toe the party line.

You could not pay me enough to be in either Chicago or Milwaukee in those dates. BTW, depending on the time of the day, it is faster to go from ORD to Milwaukee by car than to get from ORD to downtown Chicago by car.

I can personally attest to that – took me less time to drive to Milwaukee last month from ORD than it did to drive from the north suburbs to downtown.

I will stay far away from either city this summer!

With all The Proud Boys converging on Milwaukee to hail Great Leader they are gonna need these additional flights. Probably additional TSA as well.
