Yes, this blog is entitled Live and Let’s Fly, not Live and Let’s Drive, but in the spirit of discussing all things travel, I really enjoyed the video below of Brian DeFrees’ 12,225-mile journey across the United States and back with a camera capturing every moment of the journey. Using time-lapse photography and fast motion, in just five minutes you get a surprisingly decent glimpse of the variety of regions and climates in America.
I have not done an extensive road trip since 2005, preferring to fly of course, but with fuel prices still low in the U.S. (at least compared to what I pay here in Germany), a road-trip is very appealing. I may have been to more than 80 countries around the world, but there are still seven U.S. states I have never set foot in and I intend to hit all seven of those states in the months (well, maybe years) to come.
Let the road trip begin! (unless you can get me there for under 0.3 CPM on United!)
