Unreal: Kid Wears Blinking Bunny Ears On Late-Night Flight

Matthew Klint Posted onAugust 22, 2023August 22, 2023 13 Comments

Imagine you’re on a late-night flight, the plane cabin lights have been dimmed, you’re trying to sleep, but there’s a blinking light disturbing your peace…from a kid wearing bunny ears.

Blinking Bunny Ears On A Plane Are Just As Bad As Using Electronic Devices Without Headphones

Video comes to us via A Fly Guy on Instagram. He reasonably asks, “Do parents actually think anymore?” Take a look:

Can you imagine having to deal with this on a plane?

These sorts of light present a very real risk of epileptic seizure for vulnerable passengers, but present a clear risk of annoyance for everyone else.

You always wonder what is real and what is fake on social media, but if this was real (and something like this with a plane full of people seems harder to fake than other things we have seen on social media…), this is quite an egregious act.

First indeed, do parents actually think any longer? Who would buy one of these even for the ground? Halloween? These scream out “I have bad parents.”

Second, where were the flight attendants? How could this be allowed to proceed, even if only for a few minutes?

A shared passenger cabin is not the place for lights and sounds. I usually harp on sounds since people are so rude these days to play devices loudly without using headphones, but light pollution is just as bad as sound pollution and something like that might still be sensed even if you close your eyes.

CONCLUSION

Dear parents, think about those around you before you give something loud or bright to your kids on airplane. Flying is already stressful enough and the last thing we need is something to make the process even worse. Thank you in advance.

The word respect is no longer in the English dictionary. It means absolutely nothing nowadays.

Watching that clip triggered a migraine. I vote for a cabin trap door with a slide to the cargo hold

Seriously, just watching that video makes me dizzy!

Looking forward to the comments on this one. Those who keep preaching individual responsibility on these pages are probably going to say that people suffering from epilepsy should not take the risk of flying and the kid/family are entitled to do what makes them happy for the flight…

(what an obnoxious thing to do)

Tons of obnoxious behaviors on planes. In most part that FA’s will do nothing about. Unless they are having a bad day and want to take it out on others with a power trip. (Yawn)

Matt, let’s get back to your live Las Vegas points quest. That at least is interesting and not completely pointless and irrelevant. Waiting for the next update.

I was going to leave a snarky comment about “live and let’s fly”, but after seeing how bright those lights were, even I have to admit that was obnoxious lol.

I’ll take this over what I dealt with the other night…a full grown man watching some ESPN show about the rise and fall of “Johnny Football” Manziel on his phone at full volume with no earbuds/headphones…

Plus this is at least a kid.

Looks absolutely horrifying, although it probably was on a short flight as it doesn’t look like any passengers were asleep or trying to nap.

Kind of weird though how both the kid and I’m assuming his father were looking back at the camera…

And I thought my sitting in the same seat drinking many beverages during the same flight without going to the bathroom was a fascination; this is just outright terrible!

If the story doesn’t include a three-letter origin and destination, it is not fit to print on this blog
