Bumped from United? Free Private Jet Flights

JetSmarter Private Jet

If the thought of being dragged off a United flight bruised and bloodied is not exciting enough, you may be able to get a free flight on a private jet too!

JetSmarter, the “Uber for private jets” is inviting all passengers who are involuntary bumped from United to get in touch. They’ll hook you up with a free flight on one of their own private jets.

Involuntarily bumped by #United? We’ll get you where you need to be via one of our JetShuttle flights for FREE. DM us for info. #JetSmarter

But don’t get too excited. First, the offer only applies to JetSmarter’s JetShuttle network. JetShuttle is JetSmarter’s scheduled flight division, with a lot of traffic on the Eastern seaboard, but no service, say, from Chicago to Louisville.

With limited flight schedules to limited destinations, it’s not like Delta or American making the offer. Still, if you do get bumped (involuntarily only), send JetSmarter a direct message on Twitter.

I’ve taken JetShuttle from Las Vegas to Hawthorne (Los Angeles) and loved it. Driving up to a flight minutes before departure and boarding without the annoyance of security or even scanning boarding passes is something I could easily get used to. But every seat was occupied — it was not a true “private jet” experience. This won’t be either.

The offer runs at least through the end of April.
