When, Where, What?

The Frequent Traveler University Signature Series will be held in Chicago, IL on June 1-2nd, 2019. The venue this year is the Chicago Regency O’Hare at 9300 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Rosemont, IL 60018 (Google Maps link).

Sessions will run from 9 am to 5 pm each day with a welcome dinner for the first 75 to sign up (I am not sure how many spots are left). The sessions are designed to help interested travelers from beginner to expert enhance their travel experience.

My Speaking Sessions

I will speak during three sessions, all of which will be on Sunday, June 2nd.  My topics will include: Family Travel Like the Pros, Comparing the Big Three + Alaska (Delta, American, United), and sharing some hotel expertise in Hotel Loyalty Programs for Road Warriors. I’ll also be part of the two roundtables, hosting the Sunday session.

Personally, I spend about 150-200 nights per year in hotels between business and personal stays. For the last two years, I have held a significant loyalty status with all of the hotel chains (Hyatt Globalist, Hilton Diamond, IHG Spire, Marriott Titanium.) I look forward to sharing my hotel expertise with Chicago FTU guests.

Other Speakers and Topics

But it’s not all about me. Matthew Klint, the guys from No Mas Coach, Jason Steele, are just some of the panelists covering everything from expert frequent flyer awards to credit cards and manufactured spending.

I have been to three ftu’s (chicago, london, seattle)… but they have always been in the worst locations ever (relative to the city)! If i am gonna take a weekend to go to chicago i want to go to chicago, not get a hotel thats 90-120 min roundtrip from the city! Pick an airport near a city or put it in a city, and i’ll be back… ‘til then will read your blog posts from a proper hotel.
